Convertible vibes?

I would have brushed off all this chassis stiffness talk if it weren't for the fact that 3-4 write-ups from reliable magazine tests mentioned it.

My 2020 GT convertible is 100% rock solid and tight as can be. With the top up you’d never know. Period. And bone stock (even rocking the “dreaded” P Zero Neros) she’s a great handler too. I’ve never been able to push it hard enough on N GA mountain roads to get out of shape. Well, if you don’t count blind patches of wet leaves.

My '20 GT convertible with PP is as solid as a rock and as tight as can be, too. This is my 9th Mustang convertible over the years (my first one was a '67) and I'm not the least bit dis-satisfied with it--this the best convertible of all that I've had.

@Instant Action ..... my 2014 Mustang convertible had slight frame feel during a hard corner with twist on the road. The 2024 feels like a steel I beam - rock solid. There are still two frame stiffening bars on the frame but my 2024 has them welded to a large steel plate also bolted to the frame - and - in the engine compartment my strut tower brace bar is WELDED to the two brace bars that are bolted to the engine firewall. Unless you enter this car in a demolition derby it is awesome. The first ride with the boss (aka the wife) she said wow what a difference this car is solid. I have had a lot of convertibles (Austin Healey 3000, TR6, MG, XKE, 2014 Mustang) ....NONE of them approaches that solid feel of the 2024 Mustang GT. Fear not, have fun.
