Condensation on the rear window S650

I know it's Florida, but this happens when I leave my car outside. All the other cars around me are fine without this type of condensation on the rear window. The condensation is on the outside, but it's still super annoying because I can't see, and then it drips onto the body of the Mustang leaving water marks.

Do you guys know why I'm the only one with this issue and what I can do to prevent it when parked outside? All the other cars around me have clear rear windows without condensation.

I suspect it's also affected by the fastback design of the car and near-flat rear window.

People in colder climates sometimes cover their front windshield before closing out the day, to keep from scraping ice in the morning. Maybe you could imagineer or come up with something akin to that. Coatings could help with the beading process, but not keep the moisture from collecting.

I was going to say that same thing, it is because of the fastback design.
The nearby SUVs, hatchbacks and standard sedans won't have condensation buildup, or at least as much condensation build up.

OP it is annoying but normal due to the design of the car.

What @Skye said. My GT sits outside all the time and I've got the same issue as you. It's not just condensation either. Rain, dust/dirt, etc collect on this almost flat (to the ground) window like crazy. I've got a soft (all plastic/rubber) window squeegee sitting next to my back door and another in my trunk so I can squeegee the rain/conden at need.

Did I mention how much I miss my rear window wiper/washer from my Focus ST and Focus RS?

It's those darn Russians again!! Actually it is a natural phenomena, as the temperature drops below the dew point. If you're outside at the exact dew point, you can actually feel it on your skin, albeit it evaporates immediately since your skin temperature is higher than the dew point. There is a name for the feeling, but I don't remember what it's called.

As soon as i get driving it falls off. You could use rain x maybe or just get a proper microfiber drying towel and take care of it before you drive. I don’t get how it hasn’t been seen before. All cars do this with condensation from temperature changes from night to morning especially in cooler months

When I get condensation on my Rear Window.
I use my Rear Window Defroster.
It only takes a few minutes.
It seems to work for me.
