Almost every single time I start my 2024 I see a popup telling me that collision avoidance isn't available. Then I'll be accelerating to pass and get too close (not really, but tell that to my Mustang) to a car in the same lane I'm accelerating to get out of, and blaring alerts, flashing red moniker on my console, and auto muting of the radio.
What gives? Is this a common occurrence for other '24 GT Premium owners? Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity to this thing?

Turn it off in settings.

No I don’t know how but I’ve done it. I just have to play with it until I stumble across it. Mine also announced it was cutting power and applying brakes.

Do you back out of your drive?

There is collision assist for going backwards, if you turn it off, every time you reverse it will warn you it is off.

Sounds like the forward facing system is working.

No, I park in a residential area on the street and never have this warning happen when in Reverse, only when I'm in Drive.

Read through the manual the past day or two and took notes.
What I plan on disabling:
Autowipers, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering, AutoHold, and Pre Collision Assist.
