Noticed this sound about last month. On cold starts now, there is a squeaking noise coming from the engine bay. It’s only on high idle, and when the idle goes down, the sound goes away. Is this something I should be concerned about and mention to the dealer? First video 20sec is the sound I’m hearing. Second video is idle down and sound goes away.

Going out on a limb here but gonna say normal characteristic of cold weather and belt driven pulleys, you may hear it in some form or another with any ice powered vehicle (that also uses a belt and pulley system). As long as it doesn’t get louder and more frequent (providing the temperature doesn’t continue to drop) and isn’t present once normal operating temperature is reached, i’d just kinda note it, acknowledge it, monitor it (as in just kinda keep an ear out if it starts sounding different) and keep an ear out for any new thumps, clicks, and or ticks. Basically just saying, seems normal, our gt does the same.

I've had a similar noise and have taken Zig's approach. It hasn't gotten worse and I havnt felt the need to engage the dealer since it would be gone by the time I get out of my neighborhood.

Having said that, if someone knows the solution I'd be happy to fix it

It's from the timing tensioner. I have it and I've done a lot of searching on it. Long story short it's nothing to be concerned about if it goes away completely after warm up. It seems to be a normal variant of the Coyote. If it happens any other time you should take it in.

They all do that. Totally normal.
