Has anyone added a cold air intake to their 24-25 GT? If so, what did you go with?

We can't really "add" a CAI to our GTs as they come with one from the factory. Quite a few have "changed" their intake system to something off the after market for one reason or another.

It's fairly unlikely you'd see any significant increases in HP & TQ (sales pitches to the contrary) over our OEM CAI; so unless your interested in a cosmetic (I've seen a couple I really liked but they simply aren't worth the money being asked for nothing more than a cosmetic change that is hidden from sight) change.......................

Also, if you do swap out your OEM system; beware of brands that offer increased air flow at the cost of decreased air filtration as it could negatively impact your engine.

Best of luck with whatever you go with!

I’m staying stock as well. 486 hp. Is just fine….lol.
I added the H-Pipe for an additional 6 HP or so they claim...... plus the downshifts sound is addicting.

John Boshma ran a 10.779 @127.7 with K&N air filters and the stock airboxes,

Steeda ran a 10.758 @128.5 with their $700 CAI, I don't see any reason to swap the stock air boxes,

Filters Yes, boxes No.

Not really sure it's fair to compare filters on two different cars

We ran various air filtration systems on dyno for fun. None of them showed statistically significant performance increases - BUT - once any of them got a bit dirty they quickly fell below factory filter performance specs. We opined that the "oiled-type" air filter elements actually attracted and held the dirt to a far greater degree than the OEM element filters. We found with OEM filter elements a lot of the dust/dirt fell away from the filter (due to vibration?) and collected in the bottom of the air box. However in the case of "Oiled type" filter elements the dirt stuck to the filter elements clogging them much faster. IF, IF, IF you really want an "oiled type" filter you must check it frequently for potential service. Bottom line for us was they were all labor intensive, expensive, non-performance enhancing pitas. If you want a non-oiled filter with a see through air box top that looks IMO pretty cool Corsa has one coming out soon.

Steeda is also running ported heads from their Gen3 Silver Bullet and a Circle D Converter so that makes Boschma's run even more impressive. He's still has the stock converter.

I’m still waiting for the Corsa CAI to come out! No idea why it’s taking so long. Dose anyone know what the deal is with that? Otherwise JTL CAI here I come!

Steeda high flow filters , rip out the carbon traps and put in h-pipe.
That’s it for now.
Save your money for tune.
otherwise a waste unless you like eye candy for $700

I did the rear reflectors from diode dynamics. Are the side ones worth it?
