Please fix the cluster theme. I like my screen to show NORMAL but it sporadically changes it to TRACK mode. I can sometimes go 2 days with it staying in NORMAL mode then the next day, out of the blue, it will change to TRACK mode every time I crank the car that day. It is so irritating!!! Is it just me or does this happen to others?

When I select my profile & long press the "1" on the side door the dang cluster theme changes from NORMAL to TRACK mode. It will not save it to NORMAL.

As state above User Profiles are glitched right now when it comes to saving settings to it. Delete all user profiles and it will then save whatever cluster theme you prefer. It does not save to a particular memory button.

Hello @MikeMustang9 I was finally able to try this out and found this functionally repeatable. I don't believe it is intended in this exact implementation though.

Prerequisite:
- You must have memory

Test Case:
- Go to My Mustang
- Colors
- Select a primary and secondary cluster theme color
- Select an Ambient light
- Save it to memory 1, 2, or 3

When you select memory 1, 2 or 3 the color configurations tied to those will appear. Which means you could have 3 different color configurations on quick preset. We know this system has its share of glitches and bugs so when switching between the different memory configurations it can result in certain screen views having up to 4 color selections appear at once.

great find!

I tried using the "#1" to update. First went in and selected everything that I wanted, including setting the screen to the drive mode used. This time, so far, it saved MOST of my settings. It still won't save the HVAC dual mode in the setting, and so far has saved the center screen display that I wanted as well as changing the display based upon what drive mode I have it in.

We'll see if it is still set properly when I get home Monday (on a trip to North Carolina so the car is sitting in the garage back in Michigan).

Settings -> personal profile -> create user profile . Then you should be able to sync the fob to the name
Cheers - will give it a try! Is it different to just long holding 1 on the driver side?

My car was fine from day 1, suddenly 6 months later, took it to the DEALER for an oil change and NOW I have this same issue.

Memory 1 Profile button always reverts to Calm screen... I have tried deleting all profiles, and starting over and every time I try to save my Profile to Memory 1, Calm screen on every mode.

If I save the Profile to 2 or 3, it works perfect, it's like Memory 1 is locked to Calm cluster.

Did you ever find a fix? I am not taking it back to the place that messed it up

Its def a frustrating bug. Two updates ago they pushed through got rid of my workaround so now I am unable to pick the cluster theme i want. I haven't found another work around yet, but if i do. I will let you know.

No sir, not yet. I have just left it in TRACK mode cause I got tired of trying to make it do what I wanted!

Hey Everyone.

I made an account just to post the fix or the confusion on this as I was having the same issue. The settings would only save if I had a guest profile on meaning shut off personal profiles.
I had my personal profile name "Mike" but the settings weren't saved. I tried linking my profile to the Fob but it would still reset the gauge I prefer the sport gauge over the normal.

What I found as the fix is that after I selected my profile "Mike", any changes I made to the settings, I would then hold down the button on the side door for my seat memory. So I held down "1", after doing so it should pop up with a message about saving. Now all my gauges, lighting, etc, are working to all the custom settings I put in.

Hope this fixes your issues and let me know how it goes!
Mike,
Thanks for this post. I have an appointment with my dealer on Thursday, for this problem.

I've an issue with the information in the odometer screen. I tried to pick mustang status as one of the screen but that would go away every time after I cut off the car, does anyone has the same issue with keeping the screen?

When you say “goes away”, do you mean that if you arrow through the display options, it’s no longer there?

There are a few intricacies.
1) the seat belt splash trumps your display selection. If you’re not belted in _OR_ you haven’t eliminated the seat belt splash with FORSCAN, then you cannot change the display while the splash is there - at least on mine.
2) Once you’re belted ( I got rid of seat belt splash with FORSCAN so I can’t replicate this any longer ), if you have the full complement of selections or only a few, the trip meter is the default.
- This part I don’t understand: If I have, for example tire PSI selected and shut down for say a fill up, come back, I still have tire PSI showing. But if I shut down for a longer period of time, back to default - aka, trip meter.
3) If you don’t have the trip meter selected, you can’t reset the trip - say from the right side screen.
4) paraphrasing @roadpilot here: If you want only those gauges to display, deselect every other gauge option. That does work.

I’m not saying it’s working like it _should work_ but I think it’s working as programmed.

Tried the seat belt thing only worked once after I restart the car the second time it goes away again. When I said go away I meant it is no longer showing when I go up and down on display. Plus the shift indicator keeps disappearing as well

I’m talking about #122

That’s permanent.

Try selecting only the mustang status from the gauges option on the _right_ side screen. Deselect every other gauge, even trip. See if that stays permanent.

if not, you need a stealership visit.
