How do you guy/gals clean your calipers with the PP wheels? It’s kind of a PITA to pull the wheels off every time

I use my power washer every wash with a 40 degree tip. I've had the wheels ceramic coated, but didn't even think about ceramic coating the calipers, and I've read on here that people have done that as well. The power washer seems to blow all the dust off pretty well. Ceramic guy states you can use an iron decontaminate every so often to really clean your wheels up without having to completely remove them.

Yes iron remover works well just don't let it sit on them too long.

I pulled my wheels and ceramic coated the calipers when the wheel was off. For normal washes, I use detail brushes to clean as much of the calipers as possible. At a minimum, I plan to remove the wheels prior to storing for the winter to give the calipers a deep clean.

I spray the calipers with car wash when I clean the wheels. Then I spray a bit of wheel wash or iron remover (depending on how bad they look). Then I stick a micro fiber cloth through the wheel spokes (above the caliper), spread out the cloth, then pull it down over the caliper. I try to wrap the cloth around the sides of the calipers where possible. It doesn't get everything but the front of the calipers look great!

Anybody know if high heat, upwards of 350+ Fahrenheit, affects the ceramic coating on the calipers?
During normal driving conditions, your calipers will likely see temps between 120F and 180F. Any temps exceeding 300-400F are too hot for most brake calipers, risking failure of the operation of the caliper. Bottom line, even if a ceramic coating can withstand that temperature, most caliper itself can't. I am not a chemical engineer, but I doubt that a ceramic coating designed/intended for vehicle wheels and brake calipers would handle that kind of temperature.

If you choose a wheel specific coating, they are designed and tested to be withstand very high heat ratings. I highly recommend Armour Detail Supply High Temp Wheel Coating, which I'm told was tested up to 800 degrees C / 1480 f.
