Yes, because I bought and just installed the the FP version.Do catch cans actually help out cars?
Done incorrectly, they can actually increase oil consumption. I know this from the incorrect oil separator being installed by a shop on my Audi.
But is there a real benefit, not theoretical, but a tested and measured benefit against a control?
This is what I caught with mine. NA engine. Its on pace of what a healthy engine should produce and for the UPR system to catch. There is never anything in the oil catch can on my boosted 2018. I wouldn't buy another one.
I have the J&L on my 23 F150 with the 3.5 Powerboost and during the winter it captures a fair amount of gunkThis is what I caught with mine. NA engine. Its on pace of what a healthy engine should produce and for the UPS system to catch.

Basically picking up all the condensation from the colder temps. So it's just water in the air, not really more oil etcI have the J&L on my 23 F150 with the 3.5 Powerboost and during the winter it captures a fair amount of gunk
