So, I have a set of lowering springs on order, the initial drop is 1.5" on the front and 1.0" on the rear, reviews say after they settle, they will be around a 1.6" front and a 1.2" rear overall drop from stock ride height. Now my question is, should I also order a set of Camber Plates and Camber bolts or will I be ok? Everything I am seeing is mixed reviews on if they are needed or not. I personally don't think I will need them, but they aren't here yet so I have time to order a set if the majority agrees. The set I have on order are the ACCELATEC: EBS23 lowering springs.

I lowered my S550 the same amount and did not buy camber plates. I did however, kill the back lower ball joint on the front because it put the ball joint in stress and wears it out. Steeda make a lower control arm with a longer stud to solve the problem.

How long did it last before wearing out?

20,000 miles.
I think I can deal with that lol, 20k miles for a few hundred dollar repair, not bad. Do you have a picture of your s550? Did you do spacers? What size wheels?

No spacers. I don’t like spacers, I prefer wheels that have correct offset.

Are those 20" Wheels, what brand?
Yes, Bought them LMR in 2016 when I bought the car. Don't recall the brand. I had the springs and tires/wheels before the car was delivered to the dealership, so the stock ones only have 9 miles on them!

It looks really good, I'm not sure if I'm going to go with another set of 19s or a set of 20s in the spring, I'm gonna lower the car of the PP 19s and see how I like them and then decide from there.

I was going to do red for my s650 and Black it out but my wife said I'd be "cliché" so I did atlas blue 😂

I went square so I could rotate the tires. Saves you money long term. I have a DH on order and they are staggered, so I will live with it.
