Thread title kind of says it all. I have my first oil change coming up and need an oil drain pan to drain the 10 quarts of oil into while the car is on ramps. Anyone have any good recommendation on the best pan to use that won't get oil all over creation?

BTW, I've done more oil changes than I would guess but not 10 quarts.

Thanks,

FD

I know I'm getting a little "elementary" but when the drain plug is taken out, does oil flow at a similar rate compared to other vehicles? Does it just take a little longer since about 10 quarts is coming out, or does it "drain out fast and fly all over the place?" I really don't want to clean up a big mess nor am I totally stupid....normally..... 🙄

My current pan will likely work if the flow rate is like other vehicles. Thanks for patience. I'm one of those anal "do it right" people that doesn't like to F-up.
