The weird thing is, in the posts just before that they said they got the Auto because it's faster than the manual and they wanted "the raw power".

Now the car is just a tool to transport family and they don't race or track or do burnouts.

@Redback ...... was at a coffee and cars in May. Guy was shooting his mouth off about his 6 speed 2024 GT versus any 2024 GT with an A10. There was a long straight road running past the location. When I had had enough I said, "Really?" "I have 10 grand that says I can smoke your a$$ with my 10 speed". He walked away. Just sayin' ..... on a track a 6 speed is real sweet. On a straight away you will get your a$$ whooped......and the rest of the time the A10 is an awesome paddle shifter.

Yeah, no doubt, but I’d get my ass whooped by a Tesla too and I sure don’t want one of those, but to each their own. For me it’s the joy of using 4 limbs to drive instead of two, the rhythm, the coordination.

Yep. 6 speeders like to talk like a real macho man. Then you race them, beat them, and they scamper off like a little girl looking for their daddy to . They say it's more fun, let them go off by themselves having fun playing with their little stick shift. Take a GT and floor it. It shifts through it's geras sounding great. 6 speed, look how long it takes between shifts. Sounds dead.

There you have it. Autos are better incase you need to draw on a Tesla mob looking to steal your GT. The things you don't factor into transmission choices could kill you.

Oh. Sorry. That's a whole different thing. Just watch out for mooses. You hit one of those your Mustang is through. I had to help a guy carry moose antlers down a stairs, boy those things are heavy. WOW! Humongous too.

I have owned BOTH S650s. The first one was a 10 speed automatic. It got boring pretty quick. The second one (the one I currently have) is a 6-speed. I absolutely love shifting my own gears. It’s really a real pleasure to drive a manual 5 liter V8.

I can't figure how one would get bored. Unless they're Beachy Amish and pull out their radio. All kinds of music that'll help you not to be bored. Why drive like Mr. Flintstone with all the modern conveniences. No excuses. I should write a book called Mustang Owners and Their Excuses. First it's lighter and fast in the holeshot. Then when beaten by a Camaro Z/28 302 it's because it lacks bottom end torque. Hello. Have fun, and don't make excuses. PS. Having to shift gears, especially on a 6 speed gets monotonous.
