Audio is Off and won't turn on. GPS icon crossed out.

All audio is off. When I press the volume button to turn it on or off...nothing happens. When I try to turn up the volume, nothing happens...doesn't even show that it's stuck at zero.

Yesterday a mobile detailer cleaned the interior and after they left, that's when this happened. I disconnected the battery, disconnected my phone, reset the console; nothing works.

Any ideas?

No source works, not AM, FM, Satellite, Bluetooth...nothing. All sound and GPS seems to be disabled. Alexa also won't respond anymore.

By chance have you tried a sync reset?

I’ve had this happen periodically on my 2020 Explorer ST (Sync3) It has always cleared with next start up. Also now having trouble with my 2024 DH re no adaptive cruise control or crash assistance. Can’t even get normal cruise control when I turn adaptive cruise off in Settings. Dealer checkup scheduled.
There are electronic gremlins in the computer!

Does it do the heartbeat gallop sound? By chance did you check your fuses?

APIM is the central brain for pretty much the whole sync system.

If you have the ability to run forscan, you can pull codes. Check fuses just in case.

Hopefully you're still under warranty, this is something a dealer will normally handle.
