I can't believe nobody is taking the Hurst; I love mine in the s197 with a 38% throw reduction albeit at the cost of slower shifting. Anyway evidently the MGW is the gold standard for the MT-82 cars and after watching the reviews I can def see why; the hybrid side-arms definitely correct a lot of the problems caused by a remote shifter as opposed to a true toploader. I did notice the Hurst is still using a single connection point.
So I know you're not running a Hurst lol; if you're not using the MGW which one did you pick and how is it going? TIA preesh.
Although if you're retained the stock shifter I get it; I test-rowed a new GT the other day and yeah it's a bit long but not awful to the point where you'd swap it out in the lot before the drive home. I could plant my elbow on the center console and shift with my wrist; same as my Hurst but a little longer and not as notchy of course.
