Like others have stated, pretty much been on ice, other than the “Panther” trademark but that doesn’t mean much.

With Cadillac doing away with their blackwing ICE cars, it would’ve been cool to see a 2 door Camaro (CT4V) and a 4 door Chevelle (CT5V). We all know GM doesn’t like when certain performance cars even look at the sacred Vette’s direction performance wise. lol. But going mid engine kinda gave them some room to play in, if they ever decided to hop back in the arena.

Was watching a couple youtube videos on the 24 Camaro SS and ZL1 and do you all think GM will bring back a V8 Camaro sometime? I wonder if they are working on one? Heard Dodge may bring back V8 Challengers or Chargers since the EV one is not doing well. I test drove a SS Camaro a few years ago and it did drive very well, took turns & handled better than Mustang but could not get over the poor visibility, even though I would probably get used to it. I did have a Z28 back in the 90's, was a fun car back then. Hopefully GM does so it gives the Mustang some competition so they keep improving it.
honestly, I doubt it. If they do, it won't be the same Camaro we all knew.

Pony type cars have gotten expensive to buy. Look at the Ford Mustang numbers. Is there even room in the market for a second pony car? Is there even room for one (yes, I really hope there is)

Charger/Challenger was a muscle car. The new version is still a muscle car and in order to get it to turn, they have to put massive 305/35/20 tires on the vehicle. Of course, this is one of the reasons why the car gets such bad range...all that rolling resistance. This means that the Charger and the Mustang are not really in the same class of vehicle. BTW, side note, I think that one of the biggest reasons the Charger didn't sell well was the fact it was a 2 door and looked...well, looks are subjective, but it's a BIG car that would fit in well with my old 1972 Thunderbird (no, it's not quite that bad).

I think the 4 door Charger will sell better. I think a 4 door version of the vehicle that is currently being produced as the Mustang would sell as well. (needs a real rear seat though)...big enough for 2 6-4 folks in front and 5-10 in the back.

BUT...I think we are much more likely to see the Camaro name go to a bigger EV type vehicle...Something between the 3 and 5 series of BMW is what I would expect. (Or maybe Chevelle). It might also become a SUV like the Mustang Mach E. in either case, I don't think GM will return to the V8 RWD pony car version.

It would need to cost noticeably less than a Mustang (GT) and have massively improved visibility all around for me to pay attention. But then maybe people would say "Ugh it looks too much like a Mustang!"
I feel like a quintessential part of the modern Camaro is the bad visibility.

Its like not getting the little kernels in your shit after eating corn, you'd feel robbed

I thought this was a Mustang forum. Why all the GM chatter?
Because complaining/dissing GM cars like the Camaro is just as much of the Mustang experience as the Mustang itself is...at least, that's what I have gathered from my years on the various auto forums. Oh, and GM complains about Ford, and Dodge complains about both...but no one in the GM and Ford groups bother with Dodge because "they are not real pony cars"

I heard a C6 Z06 drive by earlier today when I was sitting at a light....sounded glorious. If they were to bring the Camaro back the LS7 would be great
