If I did that in our shop my tool box would be sitting outside the door.

We use a plastic scraper to pry the weights off then hit it with carb cleaner to get rid of the glue residue.

Just as an aside, this was on our alignment machine yesterday. It is not unusual for us to get very high end restorations in for alignments and power steering conversions

If you damage a car like this one it gets very expensive very fast.

That's my wife's dream car, she loves cars with fins - but she would have to get it repainted. She hates that color on cars.

We also have a 59 Chevy of some sort in the shop. also with fins that could generate enough lift at speed to make it a plane instead of a car

Looks like a 59 Bel Air or Impala and a convert to boot! Is that a pale green or a gold?

Here I am! They didn’t charge me for the job to get the tires on my MACH 1 and they will pay for the fix on my choice of repair shop. I can’t say I’m happy, but well, fair enough.
