So if I read that right, to disable ANC, the final 4 characters for 727-1-1 would need to be 0EE3 ?

thanks so much!

Made a big difference in how well my custom stereo sounds.
Tell me about it 😂 that’s when I realized my car had that, I didn’t care what I had to buy I brought it so I could disable it immediately.

In theory it’s a nice idea, especially on the convertible. But hot damn, as soon as you do any stereo change outs, it’s a nightmare.

Update: The S650 GT Convertible doesn't have ANC, therefore no microphones. A recent software update apparently reset some or all equipment to the default settings. That probably explains why my A10 transmission began surging again on uphill grades. That condition has gradually resolved itself, as before. I've noted that the surges are often accompanied by the booming noise, leading me to wonder if all of my problems originate with the transmission. On the other hand, while the surges have mostly stopped, the booming noise on uphill grades is still there.

I have been going through these threads trying top figure all this out. So the only way to disable the ESE is through Forscan? I bought an ANC bypass Harness from Crutchfield but I have not installed it yet , the tech said it would disable anc and ese but not so sure now. I will install it this weekend and go from there . If that does not work I will use Forscan. I just need to know what adaptor I need to plug my lap top in to the car.

Would you please let us know? The Q&A on the Crutchfield site is uncertain as well.

I was asking Crutchfield where it plugs in , the DSP or head unit and they stated head unit behind the screen . My car stereo shop thinks it plugs in at the DSP or amp. I am hoping its at the DSP since I do not want to take my dash off to get to the back of the radio . I will try the DSP this weekend and follow up.

I had my amp and subwoofers installed today. The shop also installed the ANC Bypass Harness . I do believe the engine noise is gone , The subwoofers sound good and no odd noises .
