Red-Ass that's a new one. And I have never been told my skin is thin.

But to the point you never responded to the original post with anything that proved I was wrong.

Saying someone is wrong because you think they didn't get it because they couldn't afford it is silly and can be insulting to some. I dint mean it as you insulted me as you can't insult me on here, I'm just pointing out the fact you can't respond to facts when called out. Only "assume" someone doesn't know something because they didn't pick that option.

Bottomline I never said I couldn't afford MR...HAHA
I know way more about it than you which is why I didn't option it. I "assume" this since the only thing you know is it is a system used on other vehicles...LOL

Like I said, yeah I can see it useful for some that want a soft/comfortable ride. IMO it is not worth it to me as I would rip it out and replace it.
Buh-bye, Mr. RA.

Ignored.

The C8 Corvette and S650 Mustang are using virtually identical magnetic damping systems, as far as the technology driving them is concerned. Shocks are only a part of the equation, but then you can't buy MagneRide without the Performance Package.

Is the Z51 performance package worth it on the C8 Corvette? Is the Performance Package and MagneRide worth it on a Mustang? To me personally, absolutely, that's why I ordered it. For other people it won't make sense, which is why it's an option and not the standard. Track enthusiasts, as you already noted, it's a detriment because aftermarket suspension usually requires removing the magnetic dampers.

I agree 100% with what you said. The mistake he made is adding the other vehicles in his post. If he would have left it at the Vette, I would have said it is up to the user if it is worth. BUT IMO how I mod/drive/like my vehicles it is not worth it.

What did I state that "in your opinion" shows I know nothing about them? Just because they are all kind of have the same system doesn't mean they are the same and can be lumped into a question of worth.

Personal insults because you can't add to the discussion. LOL

Again I thought you didn't "assume"! You sure seem to a lot!

If you are going to ask a question, please try to make it comprehensible.

I'll go out on a limb and say you 2 are not in the modding/racing community and/or new to mustangs.
Nothing at all wrong with that and I didn't say that as an insult at all. If I'm wrong, I apologize.

There are some that will get every option on a car just to have it. Then there are some that get these options and find out they have their short comings, even though they are performance options, they can be a lot better. There are expensive tuning/part options for MR for the Mustang.
Some will rip them out because of price to upgrade and because you can more tailor the suspension without MR.
Thin limb but however i’ll rephrase.

‘Just a question: does the gt500 and dh folks de-option or are these the they that purchase an lx or eboost and swap everything out, they basically just want the form/shell?’

equals: you seem to indicate nobody serious would option to purchase and yet its standard on both the ‘performance’ models know by the gt500 and dark horse. Are the serious enthusiasts that purchase those units only gearheads if they decide to remove the advanced tech and install the potentially and most likely manually adjustable damping for the specific application? You know like those guys that knew the 5.0 was heavy and could put it in the lx and really have a good time.

Hello, I was wondering if this is really needed for a car that won't be used on the track or racing. There's so many options and I'm just wondering which ones are really worth getting. Thanks for your replies!
If you're coming from an S550, the S650 should feel better damped and less stiff on rougher roads by comparison. (And that's without Magneride!)

I didn't spot one quick enough going around a corner on a double lane turn and it was a deep one. I was bracing for impact and the preparing for the low tire pressure light to rear is ugly head. Could feel going over it, but no bottoming out. I call it a success! Still try to avoid them like my life depends on it though, haha
Yeah I've hit a pothole or two and the magneride takes a good amount of the harshness out. You'll still feel it but definitely less jarring than it would of been without it.

Nobody personally insulted you. A personal insult would have been something along the lines of: You are an (insert personal insult here).

Accusing someone of personally insulating you because you got a case of the red ass doesn't mean someone insulted you. It means your skin is far, far too thin.

New to modding Mustangs? LOL. I was converting Fox bodied Mustangs from 4CYL/AUTO to 5.0L/5-speeds before many of the members on this forum were much more than a twinkle in their mommy & daddy's eyes (early 1980s).
Yeah you are 980 years old and had 7000 cars. You even owned the first vehicle ever made and modded it with a wooden supercharger. You literally have experience in every field and even fought dinosaurs while driving canyon roads and fighting vikings at the same time.

This guy is probably 26 years old and trolling this whole forum.
