If anyone wants to try these settings I think it sounds pretty good and has more bass now, don't really need a subwoofer now on the 9 speaker, though it would still be nice.
I have the treble and mid set all the way down to the minimum and have bass set to around 70% from max. fade and balance are centered, set to stereo to cut down on the center channel output and speed compensation is on high I think.
I use youtube music set to high quality, run volume around 12 to 13. some songs you can feel the bass, try a few songs from the band Cannons, they have good clean bass usually or some of the newer in this moment songs, the new five finger death punch song is good also, that type of music.
does anyone know what size the amp is on the 9 speaker? and does the b&o use the same amp or bigger? I am guessing they both use the same ford branded speakers, just 2 ways on the rear deck on the b&o.

As you have already lowered mids and treble to minimum, I would go the whole 9 yards and try 100% bass instead of "around 70% from max.".
From my experience, this should accentuate the bass a bit more.

Finding music that sounds great with these settings vs music I would actually like to hear in good quality reminds me of the times as a teenager in the 90s who could just afford a cheap amp and a subwoofer tube and only play bass heavy stuff to impress himself and those outside the car.
:)

if you set bass too high it will start to sound bad and rattle and vibrate, probably around 50 to 70 percent is ok depending on how you like the sound. I thought the system had so much treble built into it already so turned it down.
some songs sound better than others, but that type of modern rock sounds good in the car. a few other artists that sound good are Dorothy, Scott Stapp, Royale Lynn, Shinedown, pretty reckless, etc.

My biggest complaint of the B&O system is that it has an annoying mid bass hump which at least to me is irritating. The sub seems to produce bass that is not truly sub frequency but somewhere around 100+ hz and it makes the system sound cheap. I have the Pioneer replacement and plan to install so maybe that will help but I'm skeptical.

the pioneer sub should help, there are a couple youtube videos on it.
I also discovered there is a bass boost setting on your iphone, not sure if it does much or not, I turned it on mine and it might have boosted it a bit, I did turn down the bass one click on the car settings. too much bass is not good either to sound good.
