60th Anniversary Center Caps

I understand that Ford promoted the 60th Anniversary to have red center caps but, mine came with black. Dealer informed me that Ford knows about this and will issue when they are back in stock. Anyone else have black caps?

The red caps are supposed to be sent to your purchasing dealer...... ETA- Mid to Late May

I apologize for the delay on the red center caps, they had to undergo some additional testing before being released. A communication is due to go out this month to the Ford dealers with more information regarding the center caps and when to expect them. The team let me now their goal is to start shipping them out this month.

Have your selling dealership contact Ford Performance @ 800‑367‑3788 option 1
They will be given an email address to provide the VIN of your car and then they will be sent out!

I apologize for the delay on the red center caps, they had to undergo some additional testing before being released. lol What additional testing does a center cap have to go through. Sounds like a lie from a seasoned salesman/person.

I would imagine if these were subcontracted Ford might do some in temperature chamber as well as UV exposure tests. One would like to hope they would hold up and not crumble after the first year.
