Between 980 and 810 any tensioner sounds (squeaks) ?
No. Car is whisper quiet except for the exhaust. I just hit 315 miles. 🤣

Yes, starts a little higher and drops off gradually.

So when first started, idles high then drops off??

secondary question leads to any additional noises noticed during the first drop and before the second. As in do you get a squeak after the initial drop and before the second (at approximately 3 minutes). Does the lower idle resolve a tic?

A squeek? You sure you don"t have any duck stuck under the truck? I mean hood?

1080p dolby vision 370 mb video. Question was does anyone else notice a second idle drop. The tuning criteria would be interesting to hear since it’s computer controlled. Is the 3 minute mark simply due to the environment or hard coded and if hard coded what are the settings? Apparently the evidence captured becomes problematic when presented?

Yes, I've noticed the two-stage idle drop on my 24' Mustang GT and my 24' Ford F-150. No question the timing is based on affected by ambient temps. I suspect the timing is based on CHT not IAT. Never really paid attention to see if the high ambient temps drop the 2-stage to single - possible I suppose.

Edited a misleading statement - Made sense to me when I wrote..... read again after posting and said the following to myself..... that was as clear as muddy water.

@Zig "Do you wait for the first or second before you pull away? First start of the day or every time?" ABSOLUTELY any time the oil is cold or has sat 24 hours. I warm my engine up well beyond the low idle. From a family who used to build custom marine and auto race engines we thank all those who didn't warm their engines up. You put a lot of my family through school. If you have a turbo you really shorten its life if you drive it without a warm-up as the oil channels in the turbo are really fine.

Sure beats having to keep your foot on the gas pedal and pushing it and releasing it to get the carburetor's accelerator squirters to shoot more gasoline into the intake plenum to keep the cold engine running.

Any of you who daily drove your Holley performance carbureted cars with no choke know what I am writing about.
I have one... and it may not be too long before I go for fuel injection! Luckily it's not a daily, only sees a couple hundred miles a year at most.
