25C43 Water Intrusion Recall

Timeline... and I may have codes somewhere if folks find them helpful:

-Basically since new, pre-recall--water intrusion against the BCM. On my car, the first note (apart from a soggy floor) was when the dome lights began flickering as if a door was ajar.
-After a month of repair attempts on and off, eventually, we did get it sorted for a few months. After we felt good about it, BCM was replaced, old one was getting crusty.
-Life was good for a few more months, though with less use in the snow (but not none, I used it like a daily.)
-Recall comes out, recall service performed. Passed and was cleared. (Can't remember exactly when I had it done, may have been done in same visit as below).
-About a month, month and a half ago I had a no-crank, no start. Car wouldn't see the key, wouldn't start with Ford app remotely either. Eventually got it to start and got a wrench light and several other codes. Car randomly turned itself off after a few minutes as if it had a false-button press...which made sense given the codes, one of which was for an issue in the start/stop button circuit. Flatbedded car to dealer for safety reasons, found that moisture had wicked up the wiring harness. Harness was respliced and shipped. Didn't think much of it afterward, made sense as secondary damage from earlier. Not great, but we'll recover.
-About a week and a day or two ago, dome lights began flickering again. Same exact failure mode as how this all began. Parked it. Last night finally got around to tearing through it. Moisture was hitting the BCM in the exact same spot and personally verified moisture on the connectors.

At this point the car's been patched up and re-sealed so many times... who knows what gave this time. But at a minimum the harness is re-compromised yet again, as is the BCM.

I hope others have better luck and can use this info as preventative. Thanks to those offering kind words to my position.
This make me think that maybe the water comes from different areas the recall is focused on…. Possible?

I had a call from my dealership service department today reminding me that I have an outstanding recall. I told her of the horror stories online and that I'm not ready to do it. She said OK and hung up! I guess I'm good for a few more months! Glenn

100% agree.
Could be--narrow but separate RC for the same failure is certainly possible.

I'm hoping this thing will be gone by the next week or two. I'd love to keep it, but the 3/36 is up probably in the next year (on mileage) and I'm doubting Ford will continue support thereafter under ESP for water issues. I think that's one of the exclusions but I haven't got the contract handy.
