Could be--narrow but separate RC for the same failure is certainly possible.
I'm hoping this thing will be gone by the next week or two. I'd love to keep it, but the 3/36 is up probably in the next year (on mileage) and I'm doubting Ford will continue support thereafter under ESP for water...
Don't know the build date off hand, unfortunately.
No worries--doubt I mentioned it. Same dealer, though they did escalate to field engineers as well previously.
Timeline... and I may have codes somewhere if folks find them helpful:
-Basically since new, pre-recall--water intrusion against the BCM. On my car, the first note (apart from a soggy floor) was when the dome lights began flickering as if a door was ajar.
-After a month of repair attempts on...
Well.... I thought I was good from a few months ago. Officially did the recall as well, everything passed. Even was rocking a new BCM.
Then, last month I had a no crank no start. The wiring harness had corrosion wicking up. Was fixed and shipped, life seemed okay.
Last Friday, I started...
Mine has been doing this too, maybe once a month or every other month. Dash colors reset and it also loses my preference to deactivate the motions and not ask at key-off. Drives me absolutely insane. I don't believe the car has received any updates yet and I've also deactivated automatic...
Mine was one of the lucky few that had it before the recall was even issued.
Mine was down for a month and a bit longer. Much of that time was a struggle just to find the leak (Ford hadn't issued guidance yet on how to diagnose this particular failure mode.)
Wouldn't shock me if BCMs were on...
It may be in my head, but I swear the Mustang glass is among the softer/less resilient windshield glass I've owned.
I did have a chip and had it repaired quickly--out of pocket just to not deal with insurance. I don't see it anymore and it was certainly in an inconvenient place. I have two...
Adding an updated NHTSA document published by Ford to the agency, this is inclusive of the remedy procedures/photos.
A supplement was also recently published expanding the recall population.
All the best to those dealing with it, I know this wasn't fun when my car was down pre-recall for this...
For those that'd like the reference, docs from NHTSA on the recall:

Ended up being a 48k/2 year Ford corporate branded maintenance plan. Originally tried for something else but the CRC dropped the ball a number of times and only gave a final denial on the initial ask after 11 phone calls. Not a typo.
Honestly, ring up the Customer Relationship Center and complain. Loudly.
The "parts" my car needed had been essentially seam sealer. For all of my troubles I did get consideration in the end but the situation was a bit different. They may give you something to either go away or magically...
It was a nightmare for a car well under 10k, maybe even 5 - I don’t remember now. Since fixed (got the car in late March) I’ve hammered it down every chance I can. 13k miles as of now.
I’d check the carpets for moisture by the kick panel after the next rain, also worth pulling the plastic...
Yep, and I have pictures of mine corroded out...
Had this issue, except different downstream result--if same overall failure mode. Water flooded the BCM from the bad/missing seams. Took the dealer a month to fully correct without a whole lot of guidance at the time from Michigan. I never...
Time for my intro--a late join onto the forums but ended up getting my gateway (first) Mustang--a 2025 EB Premium in March. We had a very rough start on things but thanks to a persistently patient and good dealer we're mostly sorted. Couple items left to tighten up, but put an ESP on it and...
