Is your insurance high then? My 24 GT/CS Convertible only runs me $90 a month for the maximum coverage Progressive offers.

Insuring a convertible Dark Horse SC will be leaps and bounds more expensive than a GT/CS vert. Not even in the same ball park.

Reason #1 - Registered at 795 hp.
Reason #2 - Cost to repair - Much higher due to supply and demand.
Reason #3 - The insurer will assume the owner operator will at some point let it rip. Many high powered expensive vehicles in the wrong hands end up as scrap metal.
