2026 order questions - FX package, Recaros, order bank timing...

Hey all,

Wife is absolutely in love with the FX package pictures we've seen. Some things we have ZERO idea about and maybe someone here from Ford or otherwise may know:

1) Description says car comes w/ plaid inserts in the seats, but the IMAGES show RECARO seats. Will FX package include and default with Recaro seats? Can you get it WITHOUT Recaro seats and get Premium leather w/ the plaid inserts as the base option with FX package?
2) No price listed, nor even an estimate. I imagine question #1 above will have some impact on that. Without Recaros, I'd guess a $2500 package. With Recaros, more. However, WE DO NOT WANT RECAROS. They are hard AF and this will be a daily driver car. Will not be getting PP1 nor Recaros. So if FX **requires** Recaros, then it's gonna be a no, unfortunately. Sadly.
3) WHEN will the 2026 order banks open? I just got back from my dealer who says he can't order 2026's yet, they don't even show up. Not sure why they're still taking orders for 2025's, usually they shut down order banks month ahead of model year changeovers. What's going on??

This would be our second Mustang to special order. First is my 2022 GT "base" Black Accent Package car (with minor mods). I have 8,000 miles on it That's 4 digits! It's kind-of a garage queen. This car for the wife will be her DD and we'll be trading in a '23 Camry TRD with under 20k miles.

They’re just showing off top top premium PP spec.

Note: those fancy shmancy wheels are only on PP models, and the Perf Pack does not require the recaros to be optioned. Recaros aren’t even standard on the dark horse.

Tl;dr, you should be fine, wouldn’t sweat it.

Wait, so to get the flat cool white wheels requires PP? You can get PP without Recaros right? White accents are also PP only?

My dealer is clueless. They say they can't even order a 26 yet. Also wide wants the teal color. No other reason to buy the package.

I could be mistaken, but you might be able to buy the teal without the FX package. Don't quote me on that though.

But yes, flat wheels require PP, as do the while nostril inserts.

Other badges will be white regardless of PP or not.

Take a look at the order guide to get a better idea what you can expect the packages to include.

The new colour is available on other trims as well...it's not locked to the FX Package.

EDIT: Keep in mind, some of this is subject to change and may not even be fully accurate. Sad but true, but the only way of truly knowing (at least I have found with MANY brands over the years) is to wait and see one in the flesh. Best of luck!

I have the same 5 spoke "star" pattern as the first picture of white rims except mine are a gloss gray. It's just a personal choice FWIW but I think the white looks super cheap IMO like the plastic rim inserts you can buy at Walmart or the rims the kids put on their rice rockets. As for the second picture of "full" white rims that is IMO just effin ugly - those IMO look like cheap wheel covers from the 70s Attached the same 5 "star" pattern on my 2024. GT premium 'vert. IMO white on my vapor bule metallic would look as bad as on that beautiful red color in the pics above. What do the white rims go with - ok the "nostrils are white too but the trim is black, the seats are black. The designers should buy better dope if they are going to inhale it. Yes I know all of this is personal taste!
