Same… and many more…
I read up somewhere that Ford only made less than 5,000 Dark Horses so far out of the 70,000K or so mustangs produced. And I bet less than half of those have the Handling Package. GM has produced more Z06's than Ford produced the DH's in a year.

What is surprising is that @roadpilot recently posted a message from Ford to a Ford dealership regarding a Spec order and final delivery of "a DH" (I don't know the configuration). Order date 12/13/23. Delivery date 3/11/24. @roadpilot snapped it up.

@roadpilot can correct me if I'm wrong, but his build is more readily available in the market. His Dark Horse does not include HP, which has been the Achilles heel for our builds in which we've been waiting since March '23. Plus, we're all sitting on 2023 pricing which already saves us $5K from the numerous the price increases. We all have our reasons for not dropping the HP to this point. For me, I don't see the point of buying a DH without Handling Package for my wants and needs.

They don't schedule/build the DHHP optioned DHs in the late fall/winter months due to the tire composition.

What is the base price on you order? Mine was $58,185. That is only $205 more than the base price of another DH Premium I found ($57,970) that was built back on 06 SEP 2023 (nearly 6 months before mine was built) and was still available for purchase as of ~2 weeks ago.

According to a 07 FEB 2023 article (over 1 year ago) on FordAuthority.com, the starting price for the DH was going to be $57,970 -- the same price as the aforementioned DH built last fall. When did the $5K price increases happen between then and mine?

The DHHP gets you adjustable strut mounts, different springs, thicker sway bars, a different spoiler, and different tires & wheels. If you plan on tracking the car, then I could see holding out - maybe. But I never plan to track the car. I don't need the DHHP with tires that might last a few thousand miles on a vehicle that I won't track. Beyond that, if I changed my mind, none of that is something I can't do aftermarket. But that's just my $0.02.

This one's new to me. I know the Nite Pony has that, but didn't realize there was a separate option for just the roof.

Nobody is talking about the elephant in the room...with all those wheel options now exhausted what exactly are they building in May? No NPP, no BAP, no DH HP. Looks like all plain Jane Ecoboost and GTs. Maybe a few DH builds that are non-HP, but the lack of wheel availability is striking.

See below for the price increases:
700a - from $60,565 to $62,180 +$1,615
Appearance Package - from $1,250 to $2,495 +$1,245
Handling Package - from $4,500 to $5,495 +$1,000

For others, if you include the incerase on the RECARO's and the painted stripe then it would amount around $5,000 difference. For me, it's a hair under $4,000, but I reckon prices will only increase in the coming months.
