Yes, they are leaving it at that....
The local dealership initially tried to offer a manual DH - however, needed an auto for the wife. They also tried to do a swap of their manual DH with another dealership without success. The best they could do is provide the name of the other dealership...

Congrats to all that managed to get a...
Seems one person got what they ordered, but not the other cars. Hence why I'm asking as I can't get a straight answer. Have been offered a manual BE DH, but that's not going to work.
When the original NSC orders were cancelled by Ford, who's responsibility was it to re-enter them into the system? Are they re-entered or does the dealer have to re-submit an order ? Trying to understand how I went from having my original NSC to not having an active order in the system.
I'm going to look at the changeover cost. Given the new pricing, I'm going to be asking more for my S550. I'm not concerned either way, the S650 is a nice to have, but the specs are underwhelming for the price.
Nice! .... My DH order was on the day of announcement with options locked in early Jan. Have a 'confirmed' order but dealer has indicated there is still no VIN or build date.
Why would this be the case ? Numbering is from the chassis number. Eg in the USA, it's R0451. I don't see how bringing in more vehicles would affect their ability to continue the sequence of numbers.
