No thanks ... that's a deal breaker for me.... glad it's not in the Dark Horse.

Highly unlikely we’ll get the California Special for at least 12 months. I would add the spare wheel option to my order, if FoA is going to make that available (unlikely). Inflator sucks (and blows).
Thanks for the info though.

My thoughts too, however luckily it can be disabled, although it defaults back to On, so you have to press the disable button each time you start the car.

With any luck, there could be a dedicated Fuse for it.

I looked into this when I got my Focus and the consensus was there was no way to disable it in software, but I recall some guy had developed a cable that sits inline behind the physical switch button and sends the 'off' signal at power-on to effectively disable it by default without human intervention. There looks to be a bunch of clones on aliexpress now too.

Alternatively, once your battery gets a bit shit it also disables the start/stop feature which is how i'm dealing with it🤪

With my Golf GTI I used OBD coding to disable the feature permanently and I hope there is codes for the Mustang in future!

I presume there will be some smarts built in into the start stop system where it goes into quiet mode and then back into sport mode.
I can't imagine that bark being tolerated by police every time you come to a stop in say inner brisbane where the po po are fairly heavy handed with any interest in vehicles haha...
I am use to it, its a bit naff, but my bmw has it and our everest has it so first thing i do is connect Android auto, set destination, hit traction control and auto stop start and then head off.
I am not someone that just jumps in and drives cold anyway, so it might catch me out once or twice but i think its just that one extra annoyance which if i can just pull a fuse, i will

Agreed, the Tyre Inflator Kit is not ideal, and unfortunately we wont get the Mini-Spare Wheel Option, as it is not available with the Performance Pkg, which we get standard - which is arguably a much better Option anyway.

I got shunted up the order a bit at my Local dealer (Bremer Ford).
Looks like im back up on the first shipment potentially?
Build is MY24.00 (instead of MY24.50) and STATUS DATE : 08-DEC-2023 1 S.

Fingers crossed.

As far as I know all our RHD cars will be starting in Job2 which is not MY24, but MY24.5. I dont think anyone in Australia will get an MY24.
