Apparently, dark horse does not have forged pistons and rods the same as a GT engine. š¢
Easiest way to add those is to switch my short block out to an Aluminator short block when it blows with FI. Oh well.
I know four offers two versions,
One with 9:1 and the other with 12:1 compression. I wonder if we ran a low compression one that would be safer for boost. It seems like the high compression to put you right on the edge curious what the horsepower loss would be with 9:1.
Also, I have read Ford...

I want to replace just my driver side axle ($) and eventually will replace the passenger side. Since the drivers side is the one that usually breaks. Do you think doing that will cause uneven axel wrap up since it will be much larger than the passenger side? Iām running a Whipple stage one I...
I want to use my factory midnight pony black8.5 inch wide cast aluminum wheels for slicks. Has anybody tried putting ram screws to keep the tires from slipping on the bead? Do you think itāll be safe to do this to those wheels?
Hey everybody, I am looking to beef up the rear end of my 24 with the a10 Whipple. I donāt want increase get NVH too much. I narrowed it down to Steeda and Kelltrack.

Running stage one Whipple. What is youāre all experiences what breaks first on the engine, pistons, rods oil pump gears. Or is it the A10 transmission that gives up the ghost?
Well, Iām waiting for two new parts to filter down to us from the SC upgraded catalytic converters and the magnesium strut to brace that will fit the Whipplesupercharger

For drag and street driving with my Whipple, I ordered some Nitto nt05ās, should I have went with nt555RIIās? They didnāt come in my stock size. Thr NTās are for road racing how well do they work for drag racing?
Stock size is 8.5x19.
Went to the drags Friday, with stock Continental tires, and a Whipple. Got best time of 11.64. But all kinds of weird traction problems. what is the best mode for drag racing with this combo, drag mode sport mode, etc. Should I turn traction control off or on, put it in and drive let it shift...

I have a Whipple stage one has anybody had any blowout issues with their catalytic converters yet? I live in California so long tubes and aftermarket converters are out. Has anybody found out what the new supercharged. Dark horse is running for converters? I wonder if those will bolt in our cars.
Iām trying to keep the engine temps down on racing. Weāre just the 170° thermostat do any good or we throw off the tune and everything I know computers are set up and run hot from the factory. Iām worried about doing some runs overheating the number eight and seven cylinder.
Iām running the Whipple with an 24 automatic GT.Iām gonna run some sticky tires than anybody think that the GT 350 axles can handle it or should I go aftermarket and bite the bullet?
