    I'm aware of the issue I have just never experienced it. Have ran a K&N or similar filter on almost every vehicle I have had for the last 25 years.

    When you make the car that much louder it's going to feel slower. It's a myth that you're losing low end torque or missing the backpressure etc etc Put some earplugs etc in and drive it, it will feel faster.
