  1. So why does my S650 GT not handle as well as my S550 GT?

@MAT1955 What BMR had to say about those braces (which rust out like yours did and most people ended up just throwing them in the trash so they didn't have to take them off to work on the rear of the car): I do not have the engineering or "scientific" data to back up my thoughts on this. But...
  2. So why does my S650 GT not handle as well as my S550 GT?

So why doesn't the Dark Horse R have a strut brace? companies like Vorschlag have said there is no measurable improvement in track times from a strut tower brace.
  3. So why does my S650 GT not handle as well as my S550 GT?

Strut tower braces don't do shit, especially stiffen a convertible up to coupe levels... tires/alignment/imagination is where I would start but it's kind of pointless if you don't have any recorded numbers for each car (skid pad, slalom, etc)
  4. DH - Handling pack - Wet/winter tire suggestions

Better for bad weather and cheaper tires 255/40
  5. DH - Handling pack - Wet/winter tire suggestions

I'd check with a vendor but whatever you can find that's 19x9
  6. DH - Handling pack - Wet/winter tire suggestions

Change the tire size a bit and keep looking 285/35ZR19 FALKEN AZENIS FK460 A/S Continental DWS06 Easier to just buy another set of wheels, though.
  7. Upgrading wheels and tires for performance

Nominate this for the wall of shame!
  8. Whipple vs Roush - Which supercharger is better?

Didn't they say the vmp car got an oil temp overheat warning on the dyno?
  9. Whipple vs Roush - Which supercharger is better?

I like how they call it apples to apples but they have the stock exhaust on the Roush car and headers etc on the Whipple car... Put longtubes on the Roush and drop a pulley size or two (to keep the boost the same) and run it again...
  10. After tuning

You're going to want e85 and a Cobra Jet intake to hit (or come close to) 500whp
  11. Blue Smoke on start up after the car has been sitting a couple of hours.

Looks like blue smoke in the picture. Time to take it to the dealer
  12. Gas Additives

What kind of additives? Most people will recommend a fuel system treatment like Techron or whatever brand you like, as long as it contains polyether amine (PEA) Many people will also say if you run gasoline that contains the proper additive packages, you don't need to add a separate fuel...
  13. Whipple vs Roush - Which supercharger is better?

You'd think with Dodge and Chevrolet having 1,000hp V8's...
  14. Are upgraded sway bars on the Dark Horse worth it for regular track days and drag racing?

Drag racing? No. Many people remove their front sway bar (or disconnect it) for the drag strip. Road course? Maybe, but Ford has it dialed in pretty good on the sway bars that are included. So you're going to want to test to see if it's any faster.
  15. Whipple vs Roush - Which supercharger is better?

Also why didn't they twin turbo the GTD? if any vehicle had the budget for it that would be it.
  16. Whipple vs Roush - Which supercharger is better?

why does ford turbocharge the F150 raptor but supercharge the Raptor R?
  17. Whipple vs Roush - Which supercharger is better?

Production TT V8: C8 ZR1 (coming soon) Cadillac Blackwing BMW N63 AMG 4.0 Audi S7/S8 Probably a few others? Not counting things like the Shelby Redye or Lingenfelter/Callaway Corvettes
  18. Whipple vs Roush - Which supercharger is better?

I'm sure they could just slap it on the GT500 engine. It'd hold it. But that would cost a ton of money to develop blah blah and they already have the supercharger like you said And yes, the existing supercharged engine would probably be preferred by 90% of buyers
