  1. Break in period?

Pointless to baby it for more than a couple hundred miles.
  2. Anyone know for sure if ESS is coming for S650?

if you're going to compare numbers, at least be accurate. Where is this 150 to 300 jump at 3,000rpm you're speaking of? It's only adding about 50ft-lb at 3k takes it from 305 to 350-ish Edit: added a cleaner image from them
  3. Anyone know for sure if ESS is coming for S650?

Definitely not a "huge increase in torque" like a Whipple car would be. How about just say increase?
  4. E85 Tune Results on stock S650 Mustang GT 5.0

Basically the same as S550 numbers as you would expect. Not quite as big of a gain because the factory 93 tunes were a little hotter but about the same end result
  5. S650 Boss 429 Concept

Some of those last ones look like a C7 mixed with a Camaro
  6. Thread For Tuning Unlocked Whipple Cars

Give tuners more than two days.... They're busy tuning cars not making posts. There was a Whipple 2024(?) F150 shown by Shoemaker
  7. How long do you think the S650 will stay in production?

Souped up versions of the Aurora engine (based on the Northstar). But it looked like a Viper interior with GM partsbin stuff instead of Dodge seemed like a really cool car at the time
  8. How long do you think the S650 will stay in production?

The 5.2 XS crate made 580hp, they could probably hit 600 if they added direct injection etc
  9. Sydney Sweeney Driving a GT350 in new American Eagle ad

Don't forget the workwear line she did with Ford I wonder if she owns a Mustang...
  10. So at what speed do you finally get traction?

Again, drive on both and you can easily tell asphalt is worse. And nobody is talking about wet traction here. Nobody wants to drag race on asphalt. NASCAR should have never even been brought into this conversation.
  11. So at what speed do you finally get traction?

It's definitely worse for drag racing. Your article talks about most of the things I said.
  12. Stage 4 827 RWHP

I mean how much more timing can you dial into that? They are probably real close to the limit with that whipple tune
  13. So at what speed do you finally get traction?

He never says "asphalt has more traction than concrete" Because it doesn't. Dover is one of the only concrete tracks. They wear tires out faster. They take rubber (from the cars going around the track) differently than asphalt. The cars are set up for asphalt. Goodyear actually just came out...
  14. So at what speed do you finally get traction?

Concrete has way more traction than asphalt
  15. Aftermarket CAI for S650 5.0

No they won't. The engine can't use anywhere near the air it can already get from the dual TB's and tubes.
  16. What is the top speed of a 2024 Mustang Dark Horse?

Makes sense. You can see GT's hitting a limit at 145 in some dyno videos.
  17. Helion Turbo, Supercharger (Roush, Whipple, VMP), ProCharger stats, price, vids, etc

Centrifugals build boost with RPM. They make almost none at lower RPMs. TVS/Roots/Twinscrew will make almost max boost at any RPM. 5k and up you're fine but you will feel the difference down low.
