Sure, and the owner/operator can and should bear that responsibility, without some government mandate requiring a 3rd party to do it. I've seen where that leads first hand. Either you get an ethical shop or one that requires you spend $nnn.nn to get passed.
I'm sure there are lots of us who...
Like Cowboy Coward said to Ned Beatty in Deliverance: "Don't say anything, just DO it."
I have a 2006 '14 since new, and it's still great to ride around on. I think the most I've done / day on it was about 300mi. I also have a tuned 10r abs. It's stupidly quick and very fun.
That said...
Not the MachE, but some maroon in a Hyundai(?). Guaranteed this ID10T was going to change lanes in front of me and drop anchor to about 10-15 under the limit. It really wasn't a fair fight with the whipple. But then, if they wanted fast, they should've thought of this.
I posted about this back in autumn of '24 IIRC. Short story long; the car decides when to turn on the a/c (defrost), not you.
The AC via dash and floor vents could be from climate settings. Auto climate will try to maintain a steady cabin temp. Turning that off gives you a little more...
If you need a kinetic rope -as opposed to a standard tow rope, things in your life have already gone pear shaped and your Mustang's future is questionable at best.
hmm...
* left lane turtles.
* The Texas state vehicle; aka Lifted Super Duty or Jeeper with a bunch of off road lights blinding every on comer. It never happens in my Raptor, with 76K lumens of forward facing B/D lights. Well... it did once.
* Anything with a fart can exhaust.
* CELL...
MyKey ? They can be programmed with a hard limit. Seems unlikely if a restart "fixed" it.
Any recent work on the car? Mods? Maintenance? Repairs? A bmw owner looked at the wrong way?
Congrats!
This is just too easy. F150 Raptor.
You will ROOM. 5 adult humans and a canine or 2 in the back. You can pick up an 801A (35") tires, with all the bells and whistles and it will literally do just about anything. You can get 5-600 miles on a tank of gas, or you can hoon all day...
I'm not much surprised by this behavior.
on the street, just rolling around in normal drive mode with your adaptive learning config'd for max compliance with Ford's EPA & CAFE overlords, the car wants to stay in an economic, low emission cruises.
If you just press the pedal gently, you may...
I'm not sitting and roasting my PS4S, but I can confirm that with a whipple, normal and sport mode will spin like mad at any street legal speed. The stability control in the car is just amazing.
This. But don't sell new fluid short, even if you're well before the change interval (such as it is). When I changed my Raptor 10r80 fluid, a couple years ago, the shifting into and out of park, reverse, R-D and every other shift was noticeably better, smoother, less clunky and persistent even...
That tire tech needs to be brought forward and have his knuckles rapped with one of these:

😡 Wife rule number 3, right? :-D
I have the Recaro seats, so my somewhat less vertically endowed wife has to manually adjust the seat, then mirrors, whining and complaining the whole time, then after a brief tire warm up she's doing her best Dale Earnhardt impression.
+1 @GTSteve...
