  1. 2027 Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible Officially Revealed

I'm going to say ... 175 or 300kph(186). I'd be concerned about high speed stability and you know Ford Corp lawyers are too.
  2. Horsepower wars and "how much is too much"?

Everything is relative to the owner, purchaser, driver. The level of refinement and control is what separates the current crop of high HP vehicles. The S650 is a great chassis and has really good electronics that can save you from youtube infamy. Even with 800+ hp. My PS4S are pretty abused...
  3. 2027 Mustang Dark Horse SC Convertible Officially Revealed

I wonder what the speed governor is set to?
  4. Introducing Ford AI Assistant in the Ford App 📱

“How many bodies can I fit into the trunk of my Continental?”
  5. Dark Horse SC in Richmond VA at Richmond Ford West $176,000 ($71k in options)

Again, my '24 MDH laid down 826 corrected, 850 un-corrected rwhp on a stock stage 2 whipple tune, with headers and an interchiller with a 34F IAT2 reading. You just don't want to believe it and you want to ensure everyone within eyeshot knows it. And I'm not calling you a liar either. I'm...
  6. Dark Horse SC in Richmond VA at Richmond Ford West $176,000 ($71k in options)

I'm going to step out on a limb here and suggest that no matter how much empirical evidence you provide, no matter how many people show up with results, it won't matter. @robvas , am I correct you will never believe anyone making over 800 on 93 octane? Please be honest so we can put this to...
  7. Bad Navigation

Who doesn't love a thread with 100% absolutes, AMIRITE? The Nav system on my Mustang has worked well for me, in the locations I've set for it, navigated to and so on. Several things will contribute to a good or bad experience. 1) A map is like a weather forecast. it's a point in time...
  8. Dark Horse SC in Richmond VA at Richmond Ford West $176,000 ($71k in options)

The Bronco marketing team at Ford is ... well, thirsty. And they must have pictures of Ford upper management in compromising positions with farm animals because the support behind the vehicle from Ford is like nothing else. There's dozens pages of stuff in the Ford catalog for the Bronc but...
  9. Dark Horse SC in Richmond VA at Richmond Ford West $176,000 ($71k in options)

I think the older you are, the more shocked and put off by the '26 top model price vs. what we've seen over our respective histories. I remember graduating high school and it was possible for a graduate to land a trade job and afford a Mustang GT/LX that could hit 13's in the quarter mile with...
  10. Dark Horse SC in Richmond VA at Richmond Ford West $176,000 ($71k in options)

No, my PS4S were about 6 or 7k in when she went on the dyno. It took several tries to get a clean pull again, due to tire spin. Right now I am spinning at part throttle 60mph and still rolling into it just makes it spin less. And I didn't replace the half shafts. I do know that the IAT2 was...
  11. Dark Horse SC in Richmond VA at Richmond Ford West $176,000 ($71k in options)

Yes Yes, without octane booster. No ethanol. No race gas No dyno shenanigans. Well... It took several tries to prevent tire spin. Respectively. Whipple, headers, interchiller & stock stage 2 whipple tune. 826 to the wheel, 850 on the run uncorrected. Mustang(brand) Dyno.
  12. Dark Horse SC in Richmond VA at Richmond Ford West $176,000 ($71k in options)

huh? I put over 800 down on 93, with my DHSCP - Dark Horse SC Poverty edition. On street tires too :-P Yeah, no warranty, etc. it's also paid for. What does this all matter anyway? If you don't like the price don't buy it. If you think it's overpriced, ok. Again, don't buy it. Enjoy...
  13. Did a thing! Now I'm regretting it?

This "regret" will last about until the 3rd time you press the loud pedal with any degree of authority OR, until you throttle it hard enough - probably 1/4 - 1/3, to break the tires loose and keep spinning for as long as you want.
  14. Insurance for Mustang Unleashed?

Be honest with yourself, are you going to get passed, or, are you going to be the one doing the passing? Will you push hard enough to make mistakes? If not, you probably won't need insurance. But, if you're going to push, and I mean really push, get the insurance. I did track attack did...
  15. Whipple stage 1 limiter?

He's not posting heresy or hearsay, it's from another poster who put the stage 1 kit on their GT, and to limited to 140 on track. One, four, zero. The stage 1 kit did have its own, separate limit on it at one point, per whipple.
  16. Whipple stage 1 limiter?

Not that I've had the opportunity to test yet, well... on the dyno but only stage 2 and beyond scrap the speed limiter. You can't hit top speed int 10th, IIRC it's 8th(?), maybe different with the blower.
  17. Those DH owners with Ford Performance SC Weigh in

Good reminder. I looked at the GESI as well, and they're pricey for these kinds of HP levels.
  18. Those DH owners with Ford Performance SC Weigh in

    Heretic! BURN HIM! 🔥
  19. Those DH owners with Ford Performance SC Weigh in

Maybe someone else will remember more, but I recall reading that even the cats you get with the headers are good for maybe 500hp, which I am assuming is crankshaft hp. Stage 1 whipple is putting out about 800 crankshaft hp, and more. Stage 2 can be 700+ to the wheels or more. Mine put down...
