  1. Just got smoked by what I would assume was a............

It's a laugh when some cager takes on a bike. My last was a MT09, just 847cc and 115hp, but some reviewer did 2.7 to 60 and 10.3 1/4 mile on a stock one. I'm too porky to do that good, he was probably a Japanese racing sardine.
  2. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Similar here. Yearly registration is based on safety ratings and accident statistics. We pay hefty fuel taxes but we will be moving to a mileage based system that trucks, diesels and EV's have been paying up till now. $NZ76 per 1000kms currently.
  3. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I'm also 100% Italian heritage and a citizen, also an ex Traffic cop. My wife and I have done a few trips there, driven around 15,000kms from the Stelvio down to Sicily, most of both coasts and much of the middle. I have never felt safer, both on the roads and personally when walking around...
  4. Summertime tire pressures - what counts as "cold" for setting tire pressure

What did surprise me was the 32 spec. It seemed low, my last car had 42psi Fr and 30psi Rr for 245/35-20 tyres. But it works
  5. Give Your Mustang the A.I. Treatment!

If you are lucky enough to own a nice car I don't give a fat rats arse how or what you do to take pics of it. It's people who use AI to lie that I have no time for. Great work
  6. Just got smoked by what I would assume was a............

Yep, and it'll probably be German with AWD and LC. Based on 0 - 100kmh times, a new Golf R would beat mine. After that he's toast. It's so easy to add 50 to 100hp to those turbo cars as well. You don't know what you're taking on.
  7. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

The double tap I used was just a few mm's, and I'd say it dropped two gears
  8. Ford Quality: from Nightmare to Dream Come True

I have no significant complaints. The holes in the front guard liners was a bit stupid, but easily fixed.
  9. Summertime tire pressures - what counts as "cold" for setting tire pressure

I check mine early in the morning. That gives me less difference in seasonal temps.
  10. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I don't know about you guys, but I've never seen politics quite so entertaining.
  11. Recommend a good aftermarket wireless Android Auto dongle

recommend a good aftermarket wireless Android Auto dongle thingy. My wife's new car to be only has wired
  12. Next minor upgrade

I've just cleaned my OEM filters, they were filthy for only having done 10,000kms. Maybe it's because they're closer to the road surface than my previous cars. I just blew them out from the inside and then used a vacuum and brush head to do the pleats. They cleaned up OK, but I might invest in...
  13. What did you do to your S650 Mustang today?? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Fitted a different front cam, one designed for front use rather than rear. Now the image is not mirrored. Good old Temu.
  14. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

All these little gems make me not miss a DSG so much
  15. New UK Media Reviews Dark Horse

OZ cars are gelded as well. Ours are full fat US goodness. Might not be legal in the UK though. When I bought my GT PP 18 months ago it was $NZ93,000, a DH $NZ113,000.
  16. Exit Warning

He's the only occupant on my ignore list. He's actually quite a well balanced guy, has a chip on both shoulders. To be fair, he has a lot to worry about, they're on their 7th PM in 10 years.
  17. Battery tender - no bonnet lift needed?

I find that hood up is quite a good reminder it's on charge. In a few years I might have to put a warning card on the hood as well.
