  1. Dashcam

I've just replaced a 70mai A800S in the Mustang with a 70Mai M310, both 4K. The M310 doesn't have a screen so is easier to mount without blocking vision. Both seem to have excellent image quality.
  2. President Trump signed Executive Order for Right to Fix

Ben didn't have any nutters who know SFA fixing cars.
  3. President Trump signed Executive Order for Right to Fix

What I see on channels like "Just rolled in" just blows me away. I wouldn't drive some of that crap.
  4. What Ferrari would do...........

Absolutely! I am thrice blessed, she puts up with me, she has good taste in silly cars ( including Mustangs) and she loves good food and wine. She's the perfect match.

I do realise that, but how do you control DIY stuff? It'd be really hard to find a balance between the freedom to work on your car and the safety of others. Especially on modern cars which are like spaceships compared to pre 90's cars.
  6. More proof the DH SC was to be called the "BOSS?"

OK, I'm the outlier, don't like Boss or Mach. Bosses were quite unpleasant when I was an apprentice, being the very bottom of the mechanic totem pole. I do like SC because I know it means supercharged
  7. Mustang Dark Horse S650 N/A made 537whp on dyno with bolt-ons & tune

It wouldn't be the taxes worrying me over there. It'd be the high pitched whining noise coming up fast behind.
  8. President Trump signed Executive Order for Right to Fix

I partly agree. But who's overseeing the quality of repair? I've seen some horrors up close and online that makes me shudder to think they're on our roads. Like the muppet who replaced leaking hub seals on his car trailer, but didn't clean the grease off the brakes.
  9. What Ferrari would do...........

By all accounts. We're doing the test drive on Sat, and then finalising.
  10. What Ferrari would do...........

That's base version, this one has a rubber band.
  11. Does 5.0 coyote performance improve with octane?

I really want a chronometric tachometer, just so I know what revs I reached after I over revved the thing.
  12. What Ferrari would do...........

If they built a shopping trolley. My wife's car to be, '21 Abarth 595 Competizione C (convertible). As she said, if I'm going to have silly car, I may as well go full crazy. 1 owner - the dealership owners Mother, 34,000kms. 180hp 1040kgs, Brembos, Bilstein handling pack, slippery diff...
  13. DFB's Detailing Garage

Jeez, I thought I was fussy, but now I see I'm just a slobbish amateur.
  14. Has anyone here done a DIY gear swap (10R80)?

Rebuilding diffs is not hard, but does need engineers blue, dial gauge, and having been taught by someone who knows.
  15. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Well, English is my first language, but I can't understand most UK accents, especially Northern and Scottish. It's the Tower of Babel all over again.
  16. Just got smoked by what I would assume was a............

That's the reaction of a lot of car guys. But, you quickly get used to the way bikes perform. Except the latest hyper bikes, with around 1.1hp per kilo, or like a Mustang with 1900hp. Probably too fast for anyone to ride to their limits but a MotoGP or WSBK rider.
  17. Seat position

    I. must. resist. the. innuendo. opportunity.
  18. It’s time to sell the GT đź’ť

35 - 40 years riding bikes for pleasure and work, and I'm still here. They are not death sentences. I'd also rather accept the risks of riding a bike, than being turned into a crispy critter in an EV.
  19. Just got smoked by what I would assume was a............

My only Kwaka road bike was a '83 GPz750. I shouldn't have sold it, cornered like it was on rails.
  20. Gas prices [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I've heard the Scots can understand Dutch, it might just be a pisstake, but I can't understand a word either say
