  1. Rev Matching

Yep. Not sure how well an 8 speed manual would work. It would have to have effective interlocks to prevent misshifting on a gate that close together. PS. Speaking of rev matching, we went to look at an Abarth 595 with the selespeed/duologic robotised manual. That is an interesting system as it...
  2. Rev Matching

Who's seen the new Ferrari Dodici Cilindre manuale? An 8 speed DCT, with a 6 speed gated shift and "clutch pedal" for manual shifting. It only uses the first 6 gears for manual shifting as 7th and 8th are overdrive gears. They've even set it up so that you can stall it if you are fumble footed...
  3. Check your swollen nuts!

When I started in the trade everything was either AF or Whitworth. Most of our cars were English. A huge PIA.
  4. Check your swollen nuts!

Amazing. I've never seen them here. I've found an AF or whitworth size often does the trick
  5. 2025 Dark Horse

Welcome to the corral. It's OK in here. Geddit?
  6. Check your swollen nuts!

What was wrong with good old normal one piece nuts? They've served me well for several decades
  7. Who has used the Valet parking feature?

You could use the key. The secret squirrel key in the fob.
  8. Check your swollen nuts!

I thought I'd heard it all. Swollen nuts! And metric sockets in .5mm sizing.
  9. Needed Tow With 1200 Miles on the Odometer

I've only had one major issue on a new car. It was an '89 Prelude and the clutch developed severe judder. Warranty covered it, and I had it back in a day. But I still snigger at Honda reliability.
  10. Dashcam

That's what I've done. Why would it affect warranty? Sorry, just reread you post. I ran mine to the lighter plug. But the OBD port shouldn't be a problem should it? An advantage with the lighter plug is that it's powered on for some time after switch off and gives some parked surveillance.
  11. More proof the DH SC was to be called the "BOSS?"

I saw a King Cobra at a Thai Snake show. I'll be buggered if I'll even go near the name.
  12. Installing aftermarket Front Parking Camera?

Too true. I fitted a camera because that long nose spooked me at first. I've found I only use the cam for really gnarly parking places, or looking at a well turned ankle.
  13. President Trump signed Executive Order for Right to Fix

I think a good understanding of history enables people from any nation to appreciate many aspects of many countries. In our country that is now absent. Kids are taught a revisionist history of their nation. That's lies to you and me.
  14. Ensight Auto Sync 4 Front Parking Camera

No, not crazy. That's what I was thinking too, but I'm no radar expert.
  15. Needed Tow With 1200 Miles on the Odometer

It doesn't take much oil to get smokey. The stuff that burnt off just from greasy mechanics hands was surprising.
  16. More proof the DH SC was to be called the "BOSS?"

It's getting murky now. Will we have Dark Horses Matter? Hang on, GTD = GT Darkest.
  17. Ensight Auto Sync 4 Front Parking Camera

That's where I put my cam in order to see the front of the car and what's ahead of it. I may put it lower, below the licence plate in future and rely on the warning bars. Does anyone know if you can place objects like a cam in front of the Radar housing? Or, if our South Pacific peso climbs...
  18. Needed Tow With 1200 Miles on the Odometer

I'd bet it's an oil leak getting on the exhaust.
  19. More proof the DH SC was to be called the "BOSS?"

Maybe Darker Horse? For the people thinking they're racing an ordinary DH.
