My 2019 GT with options was £48k list. My 2024 GT was £60k list. £12k increase in 6 years is not 50%

Price is not the problem. Just look at all new car prices - a Kuga can be well over £43k plus options now. I paid less than £60k for my GT. Seems pretty good value to me.

Mustang has only sold in hundreds every year since 2020. They are not common.
  6. Anyone regrats their DH purchase?

A couple of comments I think I read that Ford make the track mode throttle map linear for more control so not as aggressive as sport mode. This is deliberate for modulation on the track rather than a 'sporty aggressive' feel. The power curve you see there is for the European model I assume -...

Err me for one. Haven't written a cheque for years. Zero security is the main reason! Many companies here will not accept cheques now for fraud reasons.
  15. Why's Ford not allowing people to tune the S650 Mustang?

You know why. It is locked for a reason which you also know.
  16. Why's Ford not allowing people to tune the S650 Mustang?

Don't buy one then. Ford don't do the last of those and data can be controlled (better in Europe). The others are a fine by me. Many consider these uphill not downhill!
  17. Why's Ford not allowing people to tune the S650 Mustang?

Well 500 years is pushing it but it isn't just speed. Handling of old cars was flaky, tyres were poor, brakes were poor etc. It can be argued that driving a bad car slowly can be more exciting than driving a good car fast as the limits today are so high but I certainly wouldn't give away the...
  18. Why's Ford not allowing people to tune the S650 Mustang?

Ehh? Modern cars have way more ability and abilities. Old cars had a steering wheel, some pedals, a few doors and a gearstick. Look at factory performance for old cars compared to even run of the mill modern cars, never mind the better fuel efficiency. So no - just the opposite
  19. Why's Ford not allowing people to tune the S650 Mustang?

Reliability by brand and model varies by year but that is a properly sweeping statement to suggest all car reliability has fallen without actual data to back it up! Where did your evidence come from?
