@papaD, that looks surprisingly good.
Also, I concur with Skye on color options needing to be seen in person. The Carmine Red on Ford's website makes it look brighter than in person.
Seeing Carmine Red in person is 💰 /personal opinion
Back on topic, just as the U.S. has federally mandated laws for vehicles, Europe (not sure if the entire continent) vehicle regulations require that vehicles have rear fog lights.
Insurance companies typically do not cover after-market modifications. Some insurance companies have an option to cover after-market modifications, but of course, at an additional cost.
It's been a minute since I had a vehicle with low treadwear. The last vehicle that I had that had low treadwear ratings (Continentals), the tires barely made it to 15,000 miles before I personally labeled them as drag tires 😂 In addition, when I hit between 10,000-12,000 miles, the tires...
What's the most miles some of you have been able to achieve on the stock Pirelli's? This is geared towards those who daily drive their vehicle and occasionally do some spirited driving (no burnouts, drag, drifting, etc.) Is 12,000-15,000 a safe assumption or is that being overly generous?
I really wish Ford would fix this. In my previous Ford (2017 F-150), I'd use Trip 1 to track when I needed to do an oil change and Trip 2 to track my MPG for each fill up. I've noticed two things with the S650 driver's HUD.
1. Trip 1 can not be hidden. I mean, you can set it to be, but it'll...
The first 1,000 miles, I used 87 Octane and got about 14-15 MPG. I'm over 3,000, using 93 Octane and get about 18.5 MPG. Coincidence? I'll let you guys decide. Either way, I drove an F-150 Ecoboost, so I'm use to the mileage 😂
Not to sound like a broken record but if you can afford the Performance Package, get it.
It reminds me when I was negotiating the price of my previous truck. The sales rep said he could knock a couple thousand off the price if I don't get 4WD. For me, I'm glad I got it. Did I use it a lot...
I would be more opened to a targa top versus a convertible hard top. My father has a C8 convertible hard top and hasn't had any issues with it and that's GM. As long as Ford could guarantee adequate R&D and not too much additional weight, a targa top would be awesome.
Oh yea, do that while...
Following.
It took me over a week to figure out how to access the Trip 2 on the driver's HUD. I've tried multiple ways to see if I can get the settings to save with no luck. I have been able to get the Trip 2 meter to stick, however, the MPG resets every time I power cycle the vehicle...
Makes me wonder if those who bought the DH HP have the strakes installed. It may also just be a change of the times. My father's Corvette C8 with the Z51 (purchased new in 2020) didn't have all the air ducts installed due to the manufacturer saying to only install if/when tracking the vehicle...
I've noticed a delay in mine as well. However, some days, it is instant. Oh well. Due to my OCD, I hit the lock button multiple times on my vehicle when I lock it to wait/hear for the horn just to give me a piece of mind.
I can attest to this. My F-150 had the cam phaser rattle. I had it documented right before my warranty expired, since the service department and parts were backed up by 3-6 months. Had the cam phasers fixed a few months after my warranty expired and since the dealership had it on record prior to...
The Huntsville Police Department in Alabama has a S550 Mustang GT with a supercharger. Wonder if and when they'll get a supercharged S650 😂

Looking at my window sticker, I would say the $495 Grabber Blue Calipers. I already got the performance package, which upgrades you to the bigger calipers. $495 for them to be painted Grabber Blue though?! 🥴 And yeah, $995 for some Sinister Bronze painted wheels and badges. At least the Nite...
