  1. S650 No Lift Shift

As previously mentioned, there's a set of parameters/requirements that need to be met for it to work. I may try again at some later point in time. The last time I did it (it was a different vehicle), it was the weirdest thing ever that I experienced and made me cringe for my trans/clutch 😂
  2. S650 No Lift Shift

Thank you for the clarification! Did you by any chance catch the number (or maybe even the range)? I know you said close to redline, but that can be considered subjective.
  3. S650 No Lift Shift

I have seen that page. My only issue with that is the title, "Preliminary Technical Specifications". I have seen no mention of it the owner's manual (keep in consideration, that this covers the EcoBoost, GT, and DH), not even for the Dark Horse model with the TREMEC.
  4. S650 No Lift Shift

Apologies for the thread resurrection. No Lift Shift is NOT the same as rev matching. No Lift Shift means exactly that. You press the acceleration pedal down 100% and shift up (i.e. 1->2->3->4->5->6) without letting off of the acceleration pedal. I see it is listed for the Dark Horse and the...
  5. Six Weeks Into Ownership - What Fun!

Make sure you have the memory seat set/saved. I had the same issue. I think I ended up going through the infotainment center and resetting my profile there, followed by ensuring that the memory seat was set/saved.
  6. WARNING: Check Dark Horse alignment on delivery

Where is this documented? I need to have my vehicle checked. I noticed the outer sides of the tread on the rears are wearing quick and I'm only at 4,000+ miles
  7. GT performance Package wheel alignment

So... is this the result of "performance package" alignment? Tires have about 4,000 miles on them.
  8. Side Bottom Air Deflectors/Strikers

Do you need to jack your vehicle up or use ramps to install these? No. But would it have made it easier, most likely yes. I just installed mine by turning the wheel. Talk about hand cramps. The passenger side took me ~10 minutes. The driver's side was 15-20 minutes since I had to use my left...
  9. What is 87+ meaning ... ?

Straight from the owner's manual. For me personally, I'll run 93, especially during the summer. Winter... we'll see *shrugs*
  10. Flat Rock sticker on w/s

Mine was on there before I bought the car since it was on the lot.
  11. Flat Rock sticker on w/s

I tried to remove the yellow sticker on my sun visor on my previous vehicle. Biggest regret ever due to the residue and pieces of sticker that was still on the visor. I got to check my windshield to see if I still have stickers since I had the front windshield tinted. I also need to get the...
  12. Mileage on a new car

    I know. I'm just being lazy 😂
  13. Mileage on a new car

Here's the question though... is it cost effective versus just getting 91/93 Octane to begin with? 🤔
  14. So, I got to drive a Dark Horse today

It is worse when you're cruising around in your "GT" with your kid and all they can say is, "OMG! Is that a Dark Horse?!" 😂☠
  15. Recurring Infotainment and Connected Services Issues in S650 Mustang

@DCS posted about a similar, if not the same, issue. He could not use the built-in navigation after connecting his phone via either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. I originally didn't encounter the same thing until after the latest OTA update. Once Apple CarPlay connects, I can no longer access...
  16. So, I got to drive a Dark Horse today

I mean, you're not wrong 😂 At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. People need to understand just that. People may not agree with your opinion and there is nothing wrong with that. Some are just more vocal than others 🤪 At the end of the day, how about we all just be...
  17. Anti-rust treatment Mustang S650

    My guess... cost savings *shrugs*
  18. Anti-rust treatment Mustang S650

Keep in mind, not everyone in the United States lives near the ocean nor in an area where there is a lot of snow where salt is needed for the roads. In addition, at least for Ford, there is the Ford's Corrosion Perforation Warranty, which provides peace of mind by covering perforations in the...
  19. Recurring Infotainment and Connected Services Issues in S650 Mustang

*Knocking on wood* The latest OTA update(s) have seemed to resolve a lot of my initial issues with the infotainment system. The only thing that still changes randomly is my clock will switch back to 12-hour mode and the shift point resets back to 4000 RPM. Otherwise, it seems that the majority...
  20. So, I got to drive a Dark Horse today

Thanks OP for providing this insight. I've been sort of wondering if I made the mistake getting the GT over the DH, mainly for the TREMEC. Seeing as I DD and don't' track my vehicle, sounds like I made the right choice in the end and am really not missing much. Side note: I prefer the DH wing...
