When I first bought my Mustang, there were some noises within the cabin. I have a squeaky noise coming from the steering column and driver's HUD area. Have not been able to pinpoint it. I also have an odd clicking noise from time to time (inconsistent) that comes from behind the driver seat near...
Sure... then everyone will start to complain about how loud the road noise is and how the V8 has been replaced with a twin-turbo V6.
Thank the EPA/CARB for slowing down overall engine performance and whomever it is that requires vehicles to meet a certain safety standard.
Just saying. Ford has...
Obviously... else no one would currently own/be driving an S650. One thing I've been told and semi-learned... never buy a first-year model (at least from a technology standpoint)
This will most likely be limited to the 60th Anniversary models, just like the Dark Horse Start Up screen is limited to Dark Horse models.
Side note: This is cool and all, but how about we address the bugs first before we start adding more cluster themes? Just saying.
I'm mixed on the wheels. I kind of like them, yet they kind of remind me of the 2010 6th gen Camara SS Rims with black inserts, with the understanding that there is only so many ways you can redesign wheels.
I would say that these 6.x.x. updates are more to the back end of the vehicle's software. SYNC is the front end (i.e. what you see and interface with on the infotainment center).
Don't quote me on this, but I could have sworn I saw a dyno graph showing that the 4th gen Coyote has slightly higher low-end torque and holds the torque a lot stronger throughout the rev range than the previous gen.
Got the 6.3.2 update the other day, shortly after getting 6.2 and can confirm that personal settings still don't fully save.
Examples: Turning off Trip 1 does not save. Restarting the vehicle and Trip 1 comes back up on the driver's display. Trip 2 MPG continues to reset after XX amount of...
Glad it's not just me. Completely agree that the DH exhaust sounds a little bit more aggressive than the GT with active exhaust! And I kind of like the tips a bit more... along with the rear diffuser lol
Funny. I just came across this this past weekend (trying to clean the front grill). I've just come to terms that this time of year is hopeless to keep the car looking clean for more than two days. Cleaning bug guts off of it is a pain without scratching it. The only thing I can think to help is...
I must be getting old. My car has these seats. Originally, I wasn't too sure. But seeing them in person, I love it. Makes the car feel more premium without screaming "old geezer" /personal opinion
*Side note: Nothing against the older population on this site. I'm not too far behind 😂
And here I was a fan of grabber blue... Vapor Blue is killing it though. And if I were to get another S650, I'd go with Vapor Blue, Nite Pony Package, and Grabber Blue Calipers (granted, the calipers are a pain to keep popping on my current S650 😅)
I wonder how many people on this forum actually track their car... asking for a friend.
At the end of the day, I could care less about the performance numbers because I daily drive my vehicle and will most likely never track it. I think the S650 looks sharp, inside/out (else, I wouldn't have...
@roadpilot gets it 👍🏼
Just to reiterate, nothing is perfect. There's always the risk that a patch/update may break something in the process, but businesses like Ford, know that if they release a patch that breaks something, they will have a quick turnaround to push out another patch/update to...
