Yes and no. Updates are also there to patch Zero Day vulnerabilities. Don't forget, that this vehicle has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Hypothetically, someone smart enough could hack your vehicle without you knowing by just being within 10-15 feet (i.e. parking lots)
I pay ~$1000 every 6 months through Travelers for my Mustang alone with $250 Comprehensive and $500 Collision deductibles. My collision premium is $500+ alone 😂 No tickets within the last 3 years, but I did have an accident. Hoping by the end of this year, it'll go down a little🤞
Nice. My Mustang just pulled Software Update 6.1.0 today. Found out through FordPass. I wonder if that's why MyColor and My Profile (driving settings) got reset 🤔
Not quite sure of what you're asking... you can use the built-in navigation regardless of Apple CarPlay being active. Just hit the Home button and click on the map and that'll be your built-in navigation system.
Following as I encountered a similar issue in my previous 2017 Ford F-150 2nd gen 3.5 Ecoboost. I understand it‘s two different engines, but both are Ford engines.
I know someone provided an image in another thread. However, I kind of came across a dilemma. The front of the vehicle has the huge undertray that blocks the jacking and jack stand points. Following because I was going to install the underbody air fins that come with the Performance Package.
No, you do not have to sign up for a credit card. Just download the app and sign up. I believe once you link the vehicle to your app, it'll get registered as your new purchase and then within a week or so, you'll get some Ford pass points.
My gauge screen layout is the only thing that stays consistent. Everything else you listed, it resets... My main gripe is the time. I set it to use 24 hour hour and I think just about every day, I have to set it back. The MyColor changes sporadically. Something tells me that the software code...
I'm just happy that Ford didn't give the Coyote in the Mustang cylinder deactivation or active fuel management. My initial understanding for having direct and port injection was to help with power delivery and fuel economy. As well as, the port injection is supposed to help keep the intake...
My apologies. I did a trade-in on KBB and went with good condition (I had one small door ding and a scratch on the front bumper and tailgate. No other door dings or deep scratches anywhere else on the truck... I'm OCD with my vehicles). What kills me though is that they told me the tires I had...
I've just stuck with KBB. I traded in 2 vehicles within the last 6 months. The dealerships came close enough to KBB that I just took it. Yeah, I could have made more doing a private sale. Also, if they can't come up on the trade-in, then ask for more rebates on your new purchase or have them...
Since you have the active exhaust, but keep in mind that these numbers are rated for 93 Octane:
486 hp at 7,250 rpm
418 lb⋅ft at 4,900 rpm
If you haven't gone past 5,000 RPM, you haven't really felt the pull of the engine yet. Just saying. This motor apparently loves to rev (and I'm ok with that).
I would completely concur with this. Avoid putting any unnecessary tension to the transmission when parking. I would even add that if you're parking on an incline, pull the e-brake, put the car in neutral so it settles, and then put it in Park.
