I'm in the same boat as the OP. Waiting on 6.3.2 to get the new cluster theme. In the meantime, I just use the track cluster. I like the tach front and center now that she's broken in and I can finally let her eat (makes it easier to time those shifts with the big tach). Puts a smile on my face...
Yes, but I've noticed that constraints tend to spread over the entire build cycle they schedule for. When my car was built there was a constraint on PP that was not disclosed on the schedule notes, so possible they don't advertise all constraints. Those constraints that are noted in the schedule...
No GTs built for this scheduling cycle. If you already have a build date you should be good. If not, it looks like you won't be getting scheduled in August.
I just checked the order guide....99F is the GT engine, so it looks like no GTs this cycle. The DH engine is code 99O. Looks like any DH orders should be okay.
That sounds reasonable, but I think they're replacing entire fluid lines because the plastic piece in question is manufactured with the hose. Also, they replace the hose in case there was any heat injury to the hose then you'll get a brand new one and not rely on the tech's assessment that may...
I just checked mine. All secure. I'll wait until the techs on my area to have seen several of these before I go down there to the dealership and sit for a few hours. Looks like there's no real issue from what I see on mine and all y'all's. Those going in next week please post the results and if...
I know what you mean @jdkoep. I keep it tame on the areas I know where the cops are. On the 2 lanes in the mountains I let her rip. Agree 100% with you on the beautiful sounds that come out of that Coyote and the instinctive need to let her eat. Find a good back road where the cops don't put up...
True. I was just quoting what he said in the podcast. Agree that any top tier should be fine, although I did hear that Marathon gas leaves something to be desired as does Sunoco...both rated top tier. As you worked in the industry would love your insight if you have more information to offer...
Miniscule amount being sent down the intake manifold. Not a big deal for a port only injection engine, but the for an engine that is only part time port injection I prefer to mitigate that risk. If these engines still had port injection only I wouldn't even have modified it. I would've left it...
This! Was listening to a podcast a few weeks ago and the engine tuner recommended Shell or BP fuels over all others. Said their additive packs are superior. Only Shell V-power for my pony, too!
I'm no engineer and no expert. That said I have the UPR catch can to prevent oil from being sucked into the intake coking up my intake valves. As far as putting the oil from the separator back in the crankcase: Seems like an awful idea. The waste "oil" in the separator looks like oil, but it...
@Mark & Jenn it's your car, do what you want to it. If you look to sell the car it will probably hurt your resale value not having the DH emblems on the car. As one who initially was looking to get into a DH (long story of dealers who wanted a lot of ADM, but ended up with my GT which I...
@Wiley Marmot and @ZBOBMAN I think those are race red Mustangs (unless it's a lighting/camera issue), and not rapid red. There is a race red thread as well for you to post your awesome Mustangs on!
