Every Ford I've ever had has had the power port stay hot after shutdown. I didn't know there was a car that didn't so as far as I know this is just a Ford thing. GM is the same way.
Yes! This! When you compare the factory exhaust to this one it's no comparison. The boys at Flowmaster do an excellent job with acoustics. Price is much more reasonable than Magnaflow, too. I would love someone to dyno this system and let's see if the power gains are real.
I was hoping for this Saturday, but that dream is looking less and less like a reality. My salesman said if he could go over to the yard and get it he would. Apparently the carrier has to deliver it. Hoping it doesn't sit too much longer.
Surprising. CR usually hates American cars and gives way too many praises to Toyota. I pretty much look at them like I do JD Power: take with a spoonful of salt. I'm sure they'll find something wrong with their long term test car so that they can get back to bashing the Big 3.
Looks like we lose the dual throttle body with this setup whereas I seem to recall Procharger using both throttle plates. Not sure if it would make a difference, but it did make this generation of the Coyote kinda special with the dual setup. That said, I think the warranty is way cool as this...
Yes, you will need to wait until 11/8 to order but you can always give your dealer your order now that way he/she can put it in for you as soon as order banks open up.
Does anyone know if the order guide changed for job 2?
Sounds like you're from my neck of the woods. I called Franklin Ford to order, but they wanted ADM for DH. Salesman pissed me off so bad I didn't want to try ordering again when I settled on a GT. Said it before, but I'll say it again: dealer experience with Town & Country Ford in Pell City, AL...
Looks like I'll be keeping the stock system. That is ridiculous! Next thing you're gonna tell me is that those kits are made of aluminized steel and the 304 stainless kit is another grand.
I'm still waiting to see what Flowmaster comes out with. I know their kits are only 409 stainless, but I...
I saw yellow splash at a dealer last weekend and I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. It's a beautiful color, and you have a beautiful car. Congratulations!
Shipped either yesterday or today. Ford chat provided the rail car number. It is shipping with CSX. The tracker listed it as shipped to New Boston on Oct 24, but it sat for a couple days there. Hope that helps!
I tried this today with the rail car number provided by Ford chat. Works like a champ! Found out where my car is and when delivery is expected at the port. Looks like the potential to have my car in my garage next weekend! If anyone is looking to track the rail car this is the way to go.
Personally I would do an oil change. It's cheap insurance to know for sure there is no acid or moisture buildup, or fuel contamination. Why take the risk with your new car just to save a few dollars? $50ish to change the oil is reasonable for a $40-60k car.
Even if ride quality isn't noticable performance and handling is. I opted for MR because I wanted to corner like an angry roller coaster. Worth the $20 a month or whatever it comes out to to have that capability IMHO.
