@Q6543 Please pass my thanks on to your co-workers. I could not do what you all do with the spirit you all do it with. Ignore the naysayers. You are all top notch in my book and I greatly appreciate all you do. And FWIW I have no problem paying an extra $900 for my next car or truck to make sure...
I'm gonna be the odd man out I guess. My car is everything I expected it to be and more. Proud to buy, drive, and own a UAW car. To the men and women of Flat Rock, thank you for building me a beautiful ride. Keep up the good work!
Mine had 17 on the odometer at delivery. Like you, I'm not sure what those miles were for. Dealer had it for literally one day so all of those were either at FRAP or moving around during shipping. Only 62 miles as of this morning. Since this is my weekend/fair weather only toy she won't be broke...
Mine was built on 10/20. Listed as shipped on 10/24. Left Detroit on 10/26 and arrived at the destination railyard on 10/30 in Birmingham, Alabama. Sat there until 11/10 when the dealer received it. I brought her home on 11/11. So 3 weeks from built to in my hands. I don't know if this helps you...
Finally got to drive my car today. Only 60 miles on the clock so far, but absolutely no regrets. I don't see how anyone could regret these cars. My body lines are perfect. 6 speed shifts smooth and I love the clutch. Engine is strong and smooth. Suspension is smooth and soaks up the bumps. I'm...
I find that rev matching helps a lot. If you shift at 3000 RPM, for example, let the RPMs drop as you press the clutch to the floor. Shift. Then add a little gas while releasing the clutch slowly bringing the revs to about 2000 or even a little higher. This all has to happen simultaneously. It...
Just ordered my catch can from Lethal. I will update once I install and then dump it the first time. With the direct injection doing the bulk of the work I don't trust the port injection to keep the back of the intake valves clean enough. Anybody else beside @stevev201 install one yet? His...
I like it. It's not my style per se, but I think the car looks good. The blue is growing on me the more I look at it. I applaud Ford for giving us more options even though my baby is already built. Still happy with my initial choice and purchase.
She's finally here! Going to pick her up tomorrow morning and trailering her home. Dealer is leaving all the packing and protection from transport on the car for the final leg home. Couldn't be more thrilled! More pics once I get her home and cleaned up.
They will sound different. Flowmaster is a chambered design (they do have some flow through glass pack units now), and Magnaflow is a glass pack flow through design. Only quality issue is Flowmaster is made from 409 stainless whereas the Magnaflow is made from 304 which is a better material. 409...
I did an American Thunder cat back for my F-150 in 2017. Cost $795 then. Seems about right with inflation. Still way cheaper than the Magnaflow system.
