Only downside is you don't get the performance goodies with just the spoiler and rims, but unlikely anyone will go looking under the car at a stoplight.
I think an EcoBoost is likely to go from order to delivered in about 4 months if your dealer has an open allocation for you barring any other plant closures or supplier shortages. I don't think you'll get it before Oct if you ordered now. At this point I would just wait until the 25s start...
I prefer the RTR specs these days anyway. The Saleen looks nice, but I like the way the RTR preserves a good bit of the factory appearance. Roush....when was the last time they released one of their Stage 1, 2, or 3 kits?
I love the Flowmaster outlaw exhaust sound, but ever since they moved production to China I refuse to buy from them again until it comes back to America. I'm looking at the Borla ATAK currently instead despite the higher price. The Borla is a better system all around and is made with 304...
If it's snug and not coming off I think you can wait. I have not even thought about taking mine in. I checked it. It's good. Recall stays open, but whatever. I'll get it voided later. All day for a 5 minute check is ridiculous.
I've got a new intermittent rattle that sounds like it is right behind my left ear on the B pillar or headliner. I haven't investigated it much yet, and oddly it hasn't bothered me much. Either I'm too used to rattles from my old trucks, or more likely I'm just having too much fun in the car to...
Same story here with Grundy. Less than half of what I would pay with my regular insurance, BUT I do have a teenager on my policy so there's that added expense. Like you I don't daily my toys. Only 1100 miles in 8 months of ownership on the S650.
I have mine insured through Grundy with an agreed on value. That said, I cannot use it as a daily driver, on the track, or for running errands. Their policy is strictly for pleasure/hobby/car show use. It works for me. Not for everyone.
I've considered multiple times doing a UOA on my vehicles, mostly for S's and G's. I never have done it to date, however.
I would agree that on the Mustang and the F100 I probably am wasting money because I change the oil religiously every 6 months. Maybe 1000 miles or so on that oil as...
In 30+ years of driving cars, reading car magazines, watching car shows, etc I have NEVER heard of synthetic oil crystallizing in the engine from multiple short trips. Not saying it doesn't happen, but one YouTube video does not make me a believer in synthetic oil being bad for Coyotes. Of...
@sarahestelle I just checked the connector myself and mine is good. If dropping off the car is a challenge for you I would recommend to just check yours on your own. If it's good, move on and get it checked in the future when it's convenient. The recall information for the technician is on this...
I use FordPass to document all of my service. I guess I could get a book like I have for my 65 to document service. Agree with all the others...let us document service in the app!

This is the S550 link, but you can get something custom made like my wife did when she had my S650 made.
My wife took a picture of my car and had this custom made for me for Father's Day. It came out really cool! I can get the link for y'all if you want something similar made of your car.
Well....I had 2 orders in. Long story short the one I purchased I had ordered on 7/8/23 and took delivery 11/18/23. Build date was 10/20/23. This dealer had 8 remaining allocations of 24 that I was able to claim speeding up my delivery over the original order from another dealer.
My original...
Do you know what cellular network they use? I live in a pretty rural area and have to have a Verizon signal extender at the house for my cell phone to work. Any phone on the Verizon network can automatically connect using it. Will the car use that extender like a normal cell tower, or does it...
