I wish @Ford Motor Company would offer a drift focused course. THAT would be sick! They have drift brake portion with the drag course I'm taking, but if there was a drift only package I'd sign up yesterday.
I do perform most of my own work. I'll use the dealer for warranty claims, but that's about it. If I have to go to the dealer I'll put a sticky note on the dash where it can't be missed. If my pinch welds are damaged there'll be hell to pay!
Exactly! And they have an engraving of the word, "JACK" so that any goon at the dealership can clearly identify the jacking location and not ruin your pinch welds being clumsy with the lift.
Y'all...take advantage of these events. Just got back from Mustang Unleashed at Road Atlanta this weekend, and the opportunity to ride with Ben Hobson was amazing not to mention the other small gifts and activities for us S650 owners. Will be heading to Charlotte in the fall for drag strip and...
Agreed! That garage is awesome! However, need to get that mutton next to your horse out of the stable, @topdawg4ever. Doesn't flow with the Ford automobilia you have on the wall. (Even if there is a Scat pack sign behind it.)
I just did my first oil change and was wary of the tick. So far nothing, but it's only been one start up. I use Motorcraft full synthetic and Motorcraft filters only. Does this make a difference? IDK. Do I sleep better at night using these products? Yes. Ford designed and engineered the...
I wouldn't get too excited. I emptied mine this weekend. Maybe a teaspoon of oil over 800 miles? Since I will drive this car maybe 1600-2000 miles a year I'll just go to checking it annually from now on with every other oil change (on a 6 month, whether it needs it or not, oil change schedule).
Over 800 miles I got out about a teaspoon of what looked like stained engine oil mostly. I'm more foot brake dominant unless I'm on a steep grade, then it's all engine braking. Usually I coast in neutral.
Yeah. Emptied my catch can this past weekend and was cussing trying to get the holes lined up and the bolt started to reinstall the can after draining with the strut brace blocking.....well.... everything!. Worth it not to have that mess go through the intake, but what a PIA!
Yes. I posted that before Mustang Unleashed expanded to Ford Racing School for GT and Ecoboost owners. The track events do offer insurance which I gladly paid $75 for to ward off evil spirits for my upcoming track event in Charlotte.
I was talking to the guy from CJ Pony Parts recently and he prefers UPR over all others. Now that's his opinion, but since he probably has tested most of them on the market he probably has a pretty good feel.on what's the best and what isn't. I have a UPR can as well.
