  1. Ford Performance Dark Horse Racing School Pics!

I wish @Ford Motor Company would offer a drift focused course. THAT would be sick! They have drift brake portion with the drag course I'm taking, but if there was a drift only package I'd sign up yesterday.
  2. Splash Guards

I have these. Very happy with them.
  3. Jask pad options

I do perform most of my own work. I'll use the dealer for warranty claims, but that's about it. If I have to go to the dealer I'll put a sticky note on the dash where it can't be missed. If my pinch welds are damaged there'll be hell to pay!
  4. Jask pad options

Exactly! And they have an engraving of the word, "JACK" so that any goon at the dealership can clearly identify the jacking location and not ruin your pinch welds being clumsy with the lift.
  5. Jask pad options

These! I have these installed and they are excellent!
  6. New Experiences "Unleashed Events" are Coming for 2024 Mustang Owners

Y'all...take advantage of these events. Just got back from Mustang Unleashed at Road Atlanta this weekend, and the opportunity to ride with Ben Hobson was amazing not to mention the other small gifts and activities for us S650 owners. Will be heading to Charlotte in the fall for drag strip and...
  7. Oil level after delivery of new car?

To the OP: My GT was right at halfway between the marks at delivery.
  8. Typewriter Tick/ BBQ tick fact compilation?

Is there any association with absence of the tick and use of Motorcraft full synthetic? Or is it dumb luck?
  9. Dark Horse-Picked up

Agreed! That garage is awesome! However, need to get that mutton next to your horse out of the stable, @topdawg4ever. Doesn't flow with the Ford automobilia you have on the wall. (Even if there is a Scat pack sign behind it.)
  10. Typewriter Tick/ BBQ tick fact compilation?

I just did my first oil change and was wary of the tick. So far nothing, but it's only been one start up. I use Motorcraft full synthetic and Motorcraft filters only. Does this make a difference? IDK. Do I sleep better at night using these products? Yes. Ford designed and engineered the...
  11. Custom painted engine cover

I wouldn't get too excited. I emptied mine this weekend. Maybe a teaspoon of oil over 800 miles? Since I will drive this car maybe 1600-2000 miles a year I'll just go to checking it annually from now on with every other oil change (on a 6 month, whether it needs it or not, oil change schedule).
  12. Is my GT engine missing a strut bar?

Over 800 miles I got out about a teaspoon of what looked like stained engine oil mostly. I'm more foot brake dominant unless I'm on a steep grade, then it's all engine braking. Usually I coast in neutral.
  13. Is my GT engine missing a strut bar?

Yeah. Emptied my catch can this past weekend and was cussing trying to get the holes lined up and the bolt started to reinstall the can after draining with the strut brace blocking.....well.... everything!. Worth it not to have that mess go through the intake, but what a PIA!
  14. "Mustang Unleashed" national demo tour announced to celebrate Mustang's 60th Birthday. Registration now open

Yes. I posted that before Mustang Unleashed expanded to Ford Racing School for GT and Ecoboost owners. The track events do offer insurance which I gladly paid $75 for to ward off evil spirits for my upcoming track event in Charlotte.
  15. 'Mustang Unleashed' Track Driving Experience Registration Now Active (It's FREE)

Just signed up for drag strip Oct 28-29. I was hoping it would be on a weekend, but such is life. Thank you, Ford!
  16. Oil Catch Cans

I was talking to the guy from CJ Pony Parts recently and he prefers UPR over all others. Now that's his opinion, but since he probably has tested most of them on the market he probably has a pretty good feel.on what's the best and what isn't. I have a UPR can as well.
  17. Since which date have 2024.5 Mustangs been built??

I don't know that any model has been cited as a 24.5 model to my knowledge.
  18. Gas mileage for manual

Average of 19 in the mountains over the first 850 miles. Sure it would be better on a straight away, but that's no fun!
  19. Does the 24 GT manual transmission have hill hold assist?

Yes, and it's a game changer if you're used to not having it like I was.
