Which fuse did you piggyback off?
I saw the that vid and tapped into the mirror power, which appears to work well. I'm also running JBV1 on a dedicated phone as the display. So, like you, I have the mute function within easy reach.
Thanks muchly
This is what I do, and I start it with the garage door closed until the fast idle has dropped.
Remote start makes this easier, and I do ventilate the garage well.
Also, my neighbours kid has a bloody noisy baby Lexus which makes mine sound like mouse farts
Same here. I've liked all my cars, I wouldn't buy buy them otherwise.
But this thing, I look for any excuse to drive it. It's just a mad, fun car. A grin generator.
Great stuff. Could this be an issue with stock ride height PP rear springs?
I find the rear a bit stiffer feeling than the front. I was was thinking too little rebound damping
I use IPA on the screen after clay barring, it gets any resdue off.
I wondered who'd come back with that.
And, your prize is...........................................a crack up emoji.
God, I've missed being on a forum. This is the first in nearly two years.
The camaraderie and brotherly love just makes me all warm inside.
:inlove:
I did mine at 1 month, 2000kms.
It's easy enough, though Ford use a gazillion screws on the underpanels.
It worth buying a filter tool, and make sure your drain bin holds a bit more than 10 litres.
Mine was 10 litres, it was a close run thing.
The "safety" systems that take over partial control of the car. Things like lane assist, stability control etc, etc. I do not include ABS in this.
I do accept that some people like and/or want them, but I feel it is dumbing down of driver training.
The funny thing is, that the safer you make a...
A very wise man.
Another great training scheme is enforcement driving, but not everyone can do that. It certainly teaches you how to survive doing high speeds in traffic.
FWIW. I turn off the nannies in dry conditions, I prefer the feel of the car like that.
Once upon a time, traction control, stability control and ABS were all operator features and you could move them from car to car.
10.7 L/100kms cruising, 17.9 around town. That's US 22 mpg and 13. ($NZ3.00 per litre)
You can't have enjoyment without a little pain. That's why God invented hangovers.
