By shaking in first gear, does the OP mean when engaging the clutch, or while the car is actually driving in first.
I put a solid disc clutch and lightened flywheel in an MX5 and it became undriveable. Clutch engagement was vicious in the extreme.
No way I'd buy a tune from Big Pharma Performance Vehicles.
It'd detonate it's guts out in 100 metres, and f**k up all your other cars at the same time.

My Toyota 86 had silver alloy rims with black spokes, I could tidy up kerbing marks with a dremel and it looked OK. The next car had copper faced spokes and rims, really hard to match. So I was super careful and never kerbed them. I then sold that car to a mate and when we next visited he'd...
Do Ford dealers elsewhere do a free "peace of mind" check at around 2000 - 3000kms? Check fluid levels, retorqueing important bits, etc.
I was suprised when mine did, never had that on any new cars, did on bikes though.
It was a nice touch.
Up to 500kms i just drove normally with the occasional squirt up to 4k or so, no full throttle/high load application. After that I just increased rpm and throttle gradually till 1600 kms. Same as I've done with all my new cars.
Job done.

I worked at a Harley dealership 2004 to 2007, I rode nearly all the twin cam models. No offence to the Harleyistas on here but I didn't really like them. No performance compared to the Jap and Euro bikes I rode, which is to be expected. And the cornering clearance was a worry.
But I took an...
OK, I watched that, and wish I hadn't. MX5 and GR86 as competitors?
Once upon a time motoring journalists had a grip on reality, now they have a grip on their playstations.
41 ft lbs shouldn't have broken that. I bet it has been overtightened before.
You can drill right through the bolt head, not so sure about hammering it out though.
Wavings good. All bikers do it, except Harley riders. They only wave to each other, and I suspect some only wave to riders on the same model.
I give the farmers wave to other 'stang owners, that's hand at the top of the wheel, raise the forefinger. Never the middle.
It's cruel to beat Harleys with a car. I gapped one with my MX5. Mind you, it was supercharged.
He was seriously pissed off. Fist waving, bird flipping etc.
I just didn't see the value in spending $NZ21,000 extra for a DH. I'm sure I could get the GT handling as well for a lot less than that. And I'd miss the seats warming/cooling my butt. I've quite enjoyed that. (But not too much)
I'm guessing it's a captive bolt? If so, I think cutting off flush, drilling out and a new bolt and nut would be the way to go. It's going to be a PIA.
BTW what's the torque figure?
I've had a Lamborghini try a roll race against my bike, 2nd gear disposed of him.
An RS6 tried from the lights once, same result.
But these were on the street so no super high speeds involved.
Very few people try it in cars here, no one's challenged the Mustang yet.
But when I had my Cupra SUV...
