Exactly. Any non factory offset figure shifts extra load onto the smaller outer wheel bearing. It's the larger inner bearing that is designed to carry the main wheel loading.

That should be repairable. Suspension parts and panels are easy. It's just any damage to frame,rails etc gets a bit more complicated. But they have eqipment to pull things straight on a jig.
