  1. Connecting CTEK/Battery Tender

My bike battery was the 2014 original when I sold the bike in 2023, and still going strong. It lived on a battery maintainer. If I haven't driven my car for two weeks it gets a top up charge just to be safe. Look after your batteries and they'll look after you. Useful advice for all sorts of...

  5. Wheel Spacers, A Few Questions

Exactly. Any non factory offset figure shifts extra load onto the smaller outer wheel bearing. It's the larger inner bearing that is designed to carry the main wheel loading.
  6. NITTO NT555R2 for dark horse rear tires

I'm not sure about US availability, but 315/35's will be about 15mm higher sidewall. Not sure what the width of your rims are, but you wouldn't want to go more than one size wider.
  7. NITTO NT555R2 for dark horse rear tires

The 305's have about 10mm more sidewall. Is that enough?

  9. USB Inside the Console Bin?

I use wireless AA, but wireless charging doesn't work unless I take the phone cover off. So I used the USB-C port for charging and started to get connection problems with AA. It didn't seem to know to use wireless and didn't recognise the cable. As an aside, Aliexpress have a great range of...

  12. S650 5.0 Repair

That should be repairable. Suspension parts and panels are easy. It's just any damage to frame, rails etc gets a bit more complicated. But they have eqipment to pull things straight on a jig. Interestingly, when my MX5 had an inadvertant rear intrusion by a driver who was busy watching a hottie...
  13. Anti theft device

The reason I said that was that I just bought a steering wheel lock. It's a massive thing, I said to the guy at the Autoparts store that I'll have to keep it in the boot. He said, good idea, they can steal that with the car. Cheeky b**tard.

  18. Old Man's Toys!

Easy in the sense I found one, paid for it and it was mine. But, no options, no manuals, and I could have any colour as long as it was grabber blue. Luckily, it had the spec I wanted and once I saw the colour in the metal , I was sold.
  19. Anti theft device

Go on, tell me, you keep it in the boot...trunk.
  20. Old Man's Toys!

I was 12 when Mustang#1 came out. It was years before I saw one in the metal. Never in a million years did I think I'd own one. Life can be very interesting.
