  1. K&N intake problem

A common problem with cars is overoiling the filter element and oil getting on the MAP/MAF sensor. I just stick to quality paper filters now.
  2. Bird dropping on the convertible top

When I had one I used warm water with mild soap.
  3. What are the odds?

This.... in a smallish city, in a small country without a lot of US cars
  4. Break in period RPM?

It varies, on my bikes it was initially not to exceed 5 - 6k for extended peroids, on my cars it was usually 4k, I was surprised Ford don't mention it in the owners manual. I just kept in under 4k and varied engine load regularly
  5. Dealership Damaged My Bumper During Warranty Work – What Are My Options?

Name and shame. Telling you not to return is beyond the pale.
  6. Nurburgring Dark Horse build

Picking up 8 secs with just tyres is pretty phenominal. I watch all Misha's vids, he's a very talented guy. I think the DH will end up as a time attack car. I don't think he mentioned adding a blower though.
  7. Rear shelf covering

That could have ended up very embarrassing. Hell yes, we don't have really high temps, but we do have super high UV. I'll check out the ceramic tint though
  8. Break in period RPM?

Different situation. This was a comparison of differing wear in two identical standard engines.
  9. Break in period RPM?

There's always lots of heated debate about hard break in on bike forums. One channel tested the theory on two new CB250 engines. They ran them in, one by the book, the other run hard, and then stripped and miked the components. Wear on bearings etc was the same on both, as were pistons. The hard...
  10. First oil change constructive comments appreciated.

I swear by full synth, usually Mobil 1 or Castrol Edge and bike specifc Mobil R4T in my bikes. F'n great.

VA Group have cooled charging pads now.
  12. Does anyone know why Ford deleted wireless charging for S650 MY25?

Does that affect function, like having Spotify, and AA running?
  13. Anyone get PPF from factory or had your mustang wrapped?

Yeah, that might work with EV's, but a real car like that? Nah.
  14. Check you car with a fine tooth comb when you pick it up

When you're sharing a car with your wife it can happen any time:crying:
  15. Rear shelf covering

That could have ended up very embarrassing.
  16. Rear shelf covering

Tinted another car a few years ago, it bubbled after a couple of years. Put me off. PS Funnily enough, I've never seen parcels on a parcel shelf. Have seen hats and nodding dogs though. It should be nodding dog hat shelf.
  17. Ceramic coating VS teflon based coating

We had my wife's car done with a ceramic product here called Duroseal because it lives partly outside. It's been great, I only need to wash and dry it and it looks new. Guaranteed for as long as we own the car. So I had to do the Mustang too. This was with a different supplier, and I think they...
  18. Rear shelf covering

Has anyone got, or know where to get, a mat to cover the rear parcel shelf. I'd rather not do home made, I want it to look good and reduce reflections on the rear screen.
  19. Power steering locked while driving

There has to be a fail safe built in to meet safety standards globally. I think the only way a rack would seize is with catastrophic damage. If the OP is genuine, I suspect having strongarm (manual) steering was a bit of a shock and he thought it had seized.
  20. Anyone get PPF from factory or had your mustang wrapped?

I had PPF across the front and back to the vent. No photo because you can't see it. High gloss, I wouldn't do matt though, I think it'd look strange
